YOAMD Postcards and Winners

There have been several replies indicating people have won with postcards different than the size in the official rules, postcards that have been placed in envelopes for mailing, and with printed address labels. My guess is there have been so many postcards received that there's just no way for the company handling the contest to police everything. There have also been people that reported winning after mailing more than one entry per day.

There are rules...yet there seems to be no rules!

ive not won yet and ive sent about 30 postcards :(
was hoping id get a lanyard

I had a few packages of postage paid postcards from the post office and sent in a couple months worth to the YOMD contest. Then I ran out - I was worried that the post office post cards were too big so I purchased 3x5 cards from staples and I have been using them.

Yes, along with other posters, I won with a postcard from the post office. Since we drop our outgoing mail at the post office, I usually only remember every couple of days, but it still worked!

I made mine from cardstock. Cut them to size, filled out the front and back and mailed them in. Sent in 5 each for the 4 of us in January. My Granddaughter got a notice in the mail today to pick up a register letter/package at the postoffice from Walt Disney. So nothing special, but it worked!

After have had won 6 Mickey Ear hats, I got a notice yesterday to pick up a package at the postoffice, another pair of ears :rotfl: Now all we need is one more and we will be able to outfit the whole famdamily on our trip in September....;)

Granddaughter won the lanyard/pin set. I hope we get some Mickey ears! We are going down in May, so maybe the Disney Dream Team will bestow some on us!!! :tink:

DH won the lanyard set a few months ago and now I just won the ears. :)

We've been mailing in the pre-paid postcards purchased from the post office daily now.

As a very recent graduate from the Loser's Academy, I am proud to report that I received the lanyard/pin set in the mail today. It said Disneyland on it, but was mailed from Florida. I won using the prestamped postcards. Also, I switched from handwritten entries to computer labels but it's too soon for me to know for sure which one would have been picked.

Good Luck Everyone!!! :grouphug:

Glad to hear you finally won! Congrats:cheer2:

FINALLY A WINNER!! Picked up my lanyard at the post office yesterday! My postcard from the mailman said Walt Disney Resort on it so I just thought it was in regards to our upcoming trip and I didn't get my hopes up until he handed me the white envelope and it said it was from Walt Disney World Resort Dream Squad!

Woo hoo!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I got a card in the mail saying I have certified mail from Walt Disney World at the post office. It says it came in a large envelope?? I wonder if I won a lanyard??? I'm excited to know what is waiting for me?   Unfortunately, I have to wait until Saturday to pick it up. Any idea??

When I got my lanyard the slip of paper said "package", but it was actually a rather small padded envelope.

If it's a large envelope it may be the ears?

Either way, ~congratulations!~ :cheer2:

The ears come in a box, not an envelope. The box is about 8"x8"x8".

Cut off date - I have not read through the entire thread but was wondering what the cut off date was to send postcards - or have I missed that date already?

I'm not sure if the postcards have a cut off date, but the promotion will be running through the end of December.
