Leaving for Disney on 4/1 Hoping to win ears for three children before we leave. We have been entering five cards a day for a while...nothing yet.

Finally a winner here, too. I have been sending 1-2 cards a day since Oct. I picked up my prizes on Friday. I received 1 lanyard and 1 Mickey ears. Both came in my name. I have also been sending cards with my son's name. We are going to WDW on April 6 for a week. I really hope to meet the Dream Team on that trip!!!

How often do they draw winners? Presumably, they need time to mail and such. Did the people who won around now have their cards pulled a few weeks ago or today?

My family has won two lanyards and a pair of Mickey ears. We weren't notified at all. The prizes were just sent to us with a card thanking us for entering and to "Keep on Dreaming".

According to the rules they draw winners once a month around the 20th of the month. It then takes approximately 50-55 days for them to send the prize. People receiving prizes now probably had their names pulled in late Dec.

I received my prize today! Won a lanyard! We're not going until late Nov., so this was a great way to get excited about the trip again after having so much planned already and a 9 month wait!!

We received a lanyard with 2 YOMD pins. It also came with the nice card that said "Keep on Dreaming."

I was home sick from work today and I actually was glad I was since the mail carrier rang the doorbell and I was so happy when she said "looks like you guys won something from Disney!"

If I hadn't been home sick, we would have had the card to pick up our package at the post office and it would have driven me absolutely crazy to wait and guess what it was.

It was actually dh who won, not me, so I'm still hoping (and dreaming ).

We've been pretty faithful about sending in 2 cards per day (one for dh and one for me). We bought 100 pre-paid postcards total and we are almost out.

After sending who knows HOW many postcards, a package came for my wife from WDW today. Inside was a beautiful set of Mickey ears, but we were suprised to see that they say Disneyland Resorts, as opposed to Walt Disney World. Anyone else get these?

I know I have seen it asked other places, but did you trim down the prepaid postcards you bought from the PO? They are 3.5X5.5 and I know some have been concerned with it being the right size.
Also, did you put a title for the reciever (i.e-Disney Dreams Giveaway) or do you just address it:
PO Box 8629, Elmhurst, IL 60126 USA
with no one listed as the receipient?

No, we didn't trim down the pre-paid postcards. Just mailed them as they came.

We did put a title for the receiver - Disney Dreams Getaway

Also, we did the trick I learned here and turned the card sideways and put our info on the back, so it wouldn't get sent back to our home.

Actually what I did to make it easier was I bought 100 pre-paid postcards. Then I got address labels and made 100 of those for the TO: side and made 100 that said "Enter me in the sweepstakes (underlined) with name, address, phone & birthdate on the back.

We also bought a bunch of Disney stickers and put those on the back too. Just for fun!

I've been making my own postcards. I bought postcard paper (by Avery) and printed photos on them. The photos are in black & white and are of us at Disney (not the best quality) but it's the right size!

So far we haven't won anything. I've been sending 2 a day (one for me & one for DH).

Congrats to all who have won.

Oh - question...what is the difference between the DisneyLAND ears and the WDW ears? Just wondering.
