Must say I worked all day long! But I really wanted to get them done! I am so happy! And I really am pleased! So one paper piecing and 2 journaling frames per person! I will hopefully put them in the mail on Wed! Hope everyone likes them!
Your killing me!
I haven't even decided EXACTLY what I want to do yet! Although that is the hard part and as soon as I do that It will be easy!
I have supplies for several ideas already (I really think the shopping thing is my favorite part)
Patty I know what you mean! I love shopping too! I was at my LSS on Friday and was able to pick everything up. Plus I had a pattern for the paper piecing and that made it so easy! Ihope everyone likes it! One nice thing it can also be used for a zoo page too!
Everytime I think ohhhhhhh I'll add this too it then I'm done I come up with some other idea!
I am my own worst enemy! LOL
As long as it is worth it when I am done (which I am but I am tossing around the idea of adding something else to it also!
I've started my tags, only have oh, six done though! (out of 24... arggghh!!) I thought about taking the stuff with me on vacation, but then realised that I wouldn't be able to take scissors on the airplane with out having them taken away, and I really REALLY like my scissors, so I left it all home. (of course now I have 143 pictures on the digital camera to weed through from the cruise and vero beach..... it's going to be ugly. ) maggie
I invited my DDIL over to scrap one day last week. We ended up spending the day making serendipity squares. It was a lot of fun. I made mine for the swap using nature colors. She made hers with a winter theme. She used several cool blues with a burgundy thrown in for that stark contrast. At the very end she sprinkled a bit of that really fine glitter on them. They both turned out really cool. Now I have to get to the post office this week and get mine off.
Ok, I am so far behind you guys this time. But at least I did decide today what I'm going to do. Tomorrow I'll head over to the LSS and get some supplies. Mine will have to be hand delivered to make it by the 22nd!
I've got 5 shaker boxes done. Only 8 more to go... I'm pleased with the way their turning out, but kind of frustrated because some of the "shaker" stuff is sticking to the edges. Oh well.
Wooho, I just finished the last of my shaker boxes. Now I just have to pack them up and send them off tomorrow. At times I thought I'd taken on a little more than I could handle, since I'd never made them before. But I must say, I'm rather pleased with the way they turned out. I hope everyone likes them.
ok. I thought I would never finish these. I picked a rather complicated paper piecing of mickey and minnie on safari. They are completed and ready to mail. WOOHOO!!!!
