YIPPEE!!!! I got my resale contract!!

YIPPEE!! It only took a week to find one and get an offer accepted. We're buying 152 points at BWV (why the additional 2, I'll never know) April use year. There are 30 points left for this year, and all points for next year. We're paying $71.50 a point, plus closing costs! Now, to wait on ROFR..... That one is going to be hard...... But hopefully, I'll be able to call BWV home, as well as my current home, VWL!!!

Hey, I hope it works out for you!! We just got the disappointing news yesterday that our contract didn't go through. Disney exercised their ROFR, so we'll have to start all over. In case anyone was wondering it was for 250 points at OKW at $67 -- didn't pass.

tiggerjan - sorry about the news. I'm kind of surprised that that didn't go through - especially since it was OKW. What were the other details? Were there banked points or 2004 points?

I didn't want to take any chances with my resale at OKW because all 2004 pts (220) were still available so I offered $70/pt but I asked the seller to pay half of the 2004 dues ($405) so it was as if I offered a little over $68/pt.

I'm worried. I have a 73 per point contract at BWV waiting to go through. Before it was a slam dunk, now, maybe not.

I agree. We have a BWV contract at $71.50 waiting as well, and I'm definately nervous. I actually called my agent at Timeshare Store today and asked if we would be able to counter ROFR. He said he personally has never seen a seller take a counter, they usually go ahead with Disney, since they can close in a matter of days.

Good luck there have been a few people today posting they didn't get past ROFR. I hope our VWL gets past but it is very close to the BWV one that didn't get past.
