Well just 88 more days until I'm in my Happy Place!!

DB and wife are booked and are getting just as excieted as I am. This is DB's second time but my SIL has never been to WDW. I told DB we're going to have '3' kids on this trip!! Got all the dining arrangements done. Since this was really "their" trip I hooked them up here on the "DIS Board" and told them to pick what restaurants they'd like to go to so we're all set with our dining plans!!

Hi Cee!! I officially now have 70 days until I meet DB and family!! He just booked his airfare and made his ME arrangements so now it's just the dreaded waiting!!

I make my October ADR's this week I think; I'll have to check. I'm not making many but I do know DH has a few favorites!

Which restaurants do you have ADR's for??

I made ADRs for Le Cellier, Boma(Breakfast), Paradiso 57, and Bluezoo. The last two we have never experienced before so I'm very much looking forward to those. But you know how it is with F & W....we will probably be too full to keep any of them with the exception of Boma!

How is Bomba? I've looked at it but never ate there. Hummm...I'll have to look at the menu for Bluezoo; I like Todd English. Ok...laundry is going and I have to get them in the dryer. How sad when "life" gets in the way of Disney!!

Boma is spectacular! We prefer going for breakfast, but dinner is wonderful also. You must do it at least once. I want to eventually go to Jiko too.

I canceled Paradiso 37 and made an ADR for Afternoon Tea at GF instead. Since I'll be there with my two DDs(26 & 29), I thought that would be a fun thing to do. My older DD and I have done the Tea twice before, but it will be the first time for the "little one".

You're not going to believe this. I was summonded for Jury Duty at the Federal Court House in Lower Manhattan. Ok..I go Monday and I was selected but wasn't picked to actually be on the jury. Fine. Had two days off then went back yesterday. All of a sudden we notice the Jury Assembly Room is being "changed" and in walks a Court Reporter, a gentleman in a suit, microphones are being set up and the seats being rearranged. Then we're told to watch a film on participating on a "Grand Jury". WHAT THE??????? There was NO MENTION ANWHERE on that summons about Grand Jury. You can hear everyone muttering.

Well guess what my friend. I'm juror 23 of a Special Grand Jury which will run for 18 MONTHS...2 days a week. It took over 2 hours for this poor Judge to finally find 23 people who didn't want to be excused. Even I spoke to him about my vacations and he said "don't worry..we understand people have lives" so I'm in!!! LOL...all I could think of was this Judge telling me I couldn't go to "My Happy Place".

So on Mondays and Wednesday I sit and then I have the rest of the week to myself.

I want to start making ADR's for October next week and I think I'll check out Boma. Since we're not big on breakfast I'll try for lunch if they have it or definately dinner.

OMG, Linda! You must have been beside yourself! How will it all work? Will you be excused for the weeks you'll be away in June and Oct.? I have yet to actually serve on a jury. I've spent alot of time WAITING around, that's for sure. But it's our DUTY, I guess......

Well I did request to approach the Judge and he was very nice. He said "the court realizes people have lives and there will be no problem with vacations since we're meeting just 2 days a week." PHEW!!! Talk about an anxiety attack!!! LOL.. This is my first time also Cee in all the years I've been summoned!!! Usually I'm excused after he second day!!! I guess I was "lucky" this time...

Ugh....here too. It rained VIOLENTLY most of the day so I just hunkered down to watch what little baseball was on and not postponed due to the weather!

Today I get to watch a double-header...my Nats vs. the Brew Crew. PLAY BALL!

Yankees are in town; and the neighborhood is rocking!! I think it's Texas tonight. As you can see; I'm not a big baseball fan. Lots of helicopters in the air right now!!
