Yipee!!! Time sure is flying by!! NOW...just 45 Days until I'm in WDW!!

And I cannot wait Cee. This has been one rough winter!!!!

Have you thought about any ADRs? I'm not sure what I'll do this trip since DH will be with me. He's never been to the F&W but I know he has some favorite restaurants that he'll probably want to go to. I can't wait for him to go. He'll love it!! :thumbsup2

You know, I made 5 ADRs last trip and canceled two of them. With F & W, we weren't hungry for sit-down meals that often. We always have breakfast at Boma so I'll make that one, but this time we might fly by the seat of our pants!

To all who are going sooner.........:headache: ;) :thumbsup2

I'll make a few ADRs only because I'm sure DH will have fun walking and "munching" but he really has some favorite restaurants that I just know he'll want to go to. :thumbsup2

Which restaurants are his favorites? And will you try anything new? My adult DD loves Yachtsman Steakhouse, so we may try to go there since we'll be within walking distance(YAY). I LOVE Flying Fish and neither of my DDs have been there. But here's the thing, both are signature restaurants and I may not have any $$$ in the till for all this gourmet dining! Gas is $3.41 today and CLIMBING.

Exactly 7 months from today we will be packing up to LEAVE BWV. What is WRONG with me?????:confused3:sad2:

We're not even going to talk about the price of gas Cee; it's $3.70 last time I looked. :scared1:

Ok...happier thoughts; DH loves LeCellier and Rose and Crown. I'm thinking about the Yachtsman this trip but we'll see. Fish isn't an option; he doesn't eat anything that lives in water :confused3 but one day I'll get there.

Now...are you ready for this??? DH is sending me in JUNE to WDW!!! My brother and his family are planning a trip and DB asked "why don't you come". Well I gave him all the reasons why I couldn't and later on DH said "why don't you go" and make it a family trip!!! I don't have to tell you what I said!!!:banana:

It's been a rough few weeks here in our household and I think this was his way of trying to cheer me up. We had to put our dog down Saturday. She was 15 and her hind legs just gave up; poor thing couldn't walk and it was very sad to watch her. She was a black Pug and her name was Roxie. She was very loved Cee and I miss her so much. But we did all we could for her and I held her in my arms until she was gone. Ok...enough of this.

So my friend....I had to share this with you. I'm so happy. Now I just hope my brother can book!! LOL...he's in the process of booking this week.:thumbsup2

Oh Linda, I'm so sorry to hear about your beloved pug. You had the joy of that companionship for 15 years which is outstanding. I remember a line from "Arthur", he's talking about Hobson dying and said, "I was lucky to have known him at all." I know you probably feel this way too.

Now on to happier things....for YOU. I am so jealous I can hardly stand it! You're going in JUNE?????? Wonderful! Where will you stay and have you ever been to WDW with your DB before? It's so funny that you tell me this because when I'm there in Oct., my DB and DSIL will be there celebrating their 25th anniv. They are staying at POR(they LOVE it!) and I will be a healthy distance away at BWV. I'm so happy to spend some time with them in our "happy place". I'm going to see if our DSis might join us too. What fun would that be?!

So, will this trip in June be your solo trip? Or will you be staying with your DB?

I want details. LUCKY! :worship:

Thanks for the kind words Cee.

Ok...I will be at SSR and DB will be over at the All Stars I think. I couldn't get into the Boardwalk for all of the nights so I took a studio over at SSR. I've stayed there many times and I personally love the resort. I'll be there for my Birthday so I'm booking a Spa appointment! :lovestruc

Yes; I'll be staying alone!! I will spend time with the family but when they do things like the water parks I'll be doing my thing. I've never been to WDW with anyone other than DH and DS and my best friend and her son so this will be "special". I've already told DB that there may be some mornings I will NOT meet them at the crack of dawn and he totally understands. I just don't do commando anymore. ;) But I'm his for 6 days! I've sent him links to the restaurants so we can see what looks good for them and their kids, and once he "books" I'll make the adrs. I'll fly down 2 days prior to their arrival to "unwind" before the kids get there!! :lmao:

So sorry for your loss of your dog:grouphug:

Good for you getting to go to WDW in June:thumbsup2 I still have 222 days to go:sad2: I'm excited that 1 week from today is my 7 month mark, lol....Going to try to change 5 of my nights from SSR-BWV, but not holding my breath.

Thank you for your kind words. I do miss her but she's not suffering anymore :littleangel:

Originally I wanted the Boardwalk but I couldn't get 8 consecutive nights and I hate to waitlist. So I went to SSR and that's fine. In October when I'll be there with Dh I'm at the Boardwalk.

Gee...guess I should change the title of this thread now!!:laughing:

I am sad to hear about your pug. The same happened to my Buster, and even though it's 2 years ago, I still miss him. :grouphug:

Thanks Bobbi...

It's still very fresh and it's so very sad. I miss her very much. But I was there right up until the end. I held her in my arms...I didn't want her to think we abandoned her. But I'm sure as time goes by the hurt will ease up. It's only been 4 days...:sad1:

SSR is my favorite. LOVE the close proximity to DTD which is one of our favorite places to be. I love spending time with family as long as they are a healthy distance! ;) What fun you will have enjoying each others company and then being able to break away and have your own time.

I don't know that I'll be able to sneak in (or afford) a solo trip this year, but I sure would love to.:cloud9:

This was totally a surprise...I had not planned a "solo" trip this year at all. And yes; I need my space. I love my family but I also need some time for me!! :rotfl:

Cee...a solo trip is something I think everyone should try at WDW. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it is. If you ever think you can "swing it" by all means go for it!!!

I couldn't agree more. I had my very first solo trip last May over Mother's Day. It was strange being there alone on Mother's Day but I received the most beautiful floral arrangement brought to my Jambo House studio. What a surprise! :goodvibes The AKV was luxurious and roaming about at my complete leisure was something that I want to and WILL DO again. It was heaven. And surprisingly enough, I never once felt lonely. :thumbsup2

Well since I'm now going to be in my "happy place" this June I've changed the title of my post!! :yay::yay:
