Yipee!!! Time sure is flying by!! NOW...just 45 Days until I'm in WDW!!

I've begun my countdown until I'm in my "Happy Place" in the hopes it'll take some of this winter depression away!! Just 284 more days!! OMG NYC is heading for more snow Friday!!! ENOUGH already!!!

But I did have a pleasant surprise yesterday; my niece who lives in Orlando and is a CM sent me a "post Christmas"present. It was a Mickey Head cookie cutter, a bag of Minnie's Chocolate Chip Chunk cookie mix and some Mickey napkins. Cute...very cute. It definately brightened up my day.




P.S. Well it's obvious from the first page of this post that I had much longer to wait initially before I'd get back to my Happy Place. When I began this thread my next trip was scheduled for October 2011.

Since then my brother and family planned a trip and asked me to join them and I said "Yes" so I'm going in June - just 45 days from now!!!

Love it!!! We just started our countdown because we didn't even plan on going this year and changed our minds Sunday and booked the trip Sunday!!! We just couldn't imagine a family vacation with out our beloved Disney! So we have 208 days!!

Are you going back this year for the F&W? DH will be coming with me in October. He's never attended the F&W Festival. So normally, October is a "solo trip" for me; has been for years. So I said to hubby the other day "hey...since you're coming with me in October does this mean I get a June solo trip?" and I'm still waiting for an answer!

Ever since my first solo trip last May I can't wait for another one. I just loved the freedom and solitude it provided. Just an entirely different way to enjoy my "happy place". We also experienced F & W this past Nov. for the very first time and LOVED IT. My adult DD(29) and DS(27) accompanied me and couldn't believe the wonder and deliciousness of it all. I have a feeling a solo trip AND a F&W trip will now just have to be annual affairs! I better get crackin'!

I LOVE my solo trips. In all actuality I don't think I'll get one in this year. We're finishing up reno's on our house and I really want to get EVERYTHING done this year.

Boy...time sure flies by when you're having fun!! Now just 271 more days. Gosh I wish I was leaving today. No...wait...not today. NYC is expecting an ice storm. Oh what a surprise....a winter storm! We haven't had one of those since, well let's see now...last week!!!!
