I thought you had to give a deposit, wait for your paperwork, return the paperwork with the credit app. and than wait for approval.

Were they able to tell you that you were approved before submitting your paperwork??

just curious, I thought that they could not run a loan approval until the forms were signed?

Before they sent the paperwork we gave a small deposit of $500. Then when the paper work came it stated the remainder that was due. So I sent in the paperwork and wanted to wait until all was clear and good before I made the final payment on the 20% down.
