I'm traveling in August with husband and 2 daughters. We are staying at the YC. I understand that some of the rooms have 2 queen beds and some of the rooms have 2 queen beds with a day bed. As one of the girls is a teenager, she would rather not sleep with her sister or for that matter breathe the same air. Would we be better off at the CR where all the rooms have a day bed or if we request a day bed will we probably get it? I hate to pay to stay at the YC and pay another $25 a night for a rollaway. We are staying for 10 days so this could really add up.

Also, thanks everyone for the info on new codes. We have the YC for $2098 incl tax for 10 nights. Using AP rates this room was $2246.

Have a great weekend.

Cathy, with 4 people in the room they usually give you a room with a daybed. But to make sure you can definitely request one.

We've stayed there twice and had a daybed both times. I didn't realize there were rooms without them -- knew the Beach Club had some but not the Yacht Club. It's a great resort -- you'll love it.

I believe that most of the rooms at the YC do have daybeds. If you call ahead and speak to the room assigner explaining the situation, I would definately think you'd have no problem!
call about 5 days ahead of arrival.
also, have cro note it on the ressie.

I'd keep the YC ressie! it's such an awesome resort!!!!!! :)

have a great trip!!!

We split our stay this past trip - so we stayed half of the trip at the YC. Our room had a daybed. We also had a teenager and the YC was such a great location for them. Great access to the Boardwalk, Epcot and MGM. For families with older children I think it was a great location. One morning we ran to Epcot early and grabbed Fast Passes for TT then just walked back when it was time. It was the only way we would have gotten on because the day we spent at Epcot FP's were sold out by 10:00...

You'll love the YC...the pool is awesome, the hotel is gorgeous and the location can't be beat. My only complaint is the food. The mugs are not worth it there because it's too hard to get into Beachs and Cream to refill them. The line was always out the door and occasionally they'd yell out if you had refills but not always. I wish they would expand Band C to make quick food service a little more excessible. But that said, I'd still go back in a heartbeat!
