Hey, I once said that I thought that kids who are in the HS orchestra shouldn't be made to do marching band if they didn't want to -- and you wouldn't <i>believe</i> the things people said to me! You'd have thought I'd have advocated handing out condoms in case kids needed them for study halls or something!!!

It's not just the political crowd that can get mean!!!!

auntpolly lol! I was in the same thread and got seared on that one as well. I was a fall sport athlete who was able to march in band too. It was nice for me, but I guess they don't allow that anymore.

I agree with Aunt Polly - and I almost posted something, but thought it would be taken the wrong way...

something along the line of "YOU advocate condoms?!"

but knowing the spirit someone posts (like Aunt Polly, and my trying to explain trying to add humor...) doesnt necessarily mean people will respond in kind, some people enjoy the challenge, some like to really see if the flaming gets increased...

One of the boards I post at is very strict with debates, it takes a lot of volunteers moderating the board, warning posters, and then taking away privelges - and those that like to stir trouble know how to work around banning - some people honestly think rules are meant to be broken, and rules arent meant for them...

Well, granny always sad there are bad apples, ignore them, or throw them out!!
