We'll be heading home (VWL) Dec. 15th and I was thinking of sending my Xmas cards from WDW. I thought we could take a photo our first night there (we'll be going to MVMCP) then having them developed into photo cards. Does anyone know if there is any place in the area that does that? I know CVS and Walgreen's do it here (MA) overnight. I was hoping we could find a place down there, I don't really want to go to great lengths to get this done, I figured if I had all the envelopes stamped and ready to go we could just stuff them and send them. Seems like a good idea I just don't know how feasible it is.
TIA,
PT

WDW will do anything for a price, me thinks.

There are film developing shops all over WDW. I'm sure you can find one to do your Xmas cards for you.

Giving this a bump if someone has more information.

Try the area outside DD at the end of Hotel Plaza Blvd. There's a Goodings in the Crossroads Plaza and I'm pretty sure an Eckerds (local chain similar to CVS & Walgreens) up the road a bit if you take a left at the light.

I've had 1-hour developing at Eckerds....not sure if they do the same for Christmas cards...check their website to see if they do..and also for locations in the area.

It's a great idea....good luck!!!

Sounds like a good idea to me. I have no idea where you could get them made, but like others, I am sure that it could be done.

I would print out the addresses on stickers. That way you can slap the stickers and stamps on and be done with them, more quickly.

I second the idea of printing the addresses on stickers. I know that the CVS up here does photo cards in 24 hours. So what you could do is go to a hour developing place drop the film off. Run some errands then see what photo you want have them do it and pick everything up the next day. I see no reason this can't work for you.
It is a great idea I might copy it some year. :-)

Don't know who would do it, but I think it is a great idea!!

Well Eckerds isn't the place to do it apparently...I just got an email from them and they said it takes 7 days on those types of special orders. Oh well, maybe we'll take one for next year!
Thanks for all the input,
PT

Don't give up yet. Do you have a digital camera? If you have a laptop you could upload a picture to shutterfly from WDW and they will even mail the cards out for you. Or maybe you could do a Happy New Year or winter card this year and just wish people "Merry Christmas" in the text of the card?
