Catherine, Denine, Tera, and, KimRaye, cinmell and any other LOSER i didn't mention -- WAY TO GO!!!! I don't care the number, you lost and are moving in the right direction!!! yeeee haw!!

melrosgirl -- having only 20 lbs to lose please dont' be discouraged with small weight loss weeks, the key is that they will ADD up to a bigger loss. I'm a slow loser too, I'll lose a couple pounds here quickly b/c i haven't been very good on WW for several months, but my last 8 lbs or so back to goal will probably take me ALL SUMMER to lose and maybe into Sept.

i have just gotten back home after being gone since monday night -- went to visit my mom for a few days with my DDs. i did WI at her house and it was the same number I saw last week here, so no loss for me. But, TOM came too and so maybe next week i'll see a pound or two gone. Mom and I are both on WW so we ate pretty good.

denine - have a magical time at Disney!!!!!

I lost a big fat ZERO this week. This was my first week on WW. I really followed the plan and exercised more than usual too. I only have 20 pounds to lose, but I keep reading about people who lost 10 pounds, 2 pounds, 4 pounds their first week. :(

Don't fret. I was a slow starter. It took me about 3 weeks before I lost ANY weight after I started. Now, 23 weeks later, I am down 22 pounds. You can do it!

Thanks for the well wishes for next week in WDW!

My new goal is 3 more pounds to get my 25 pound clipppy and then 1 more pound to get to the next and final weight range. Then I will only have 4 pounds to go!

We went out to eat last night to celebrate my single digit hurrah. I did splurge, but have only used 14 flex points and I get more on Sunday. We even had wine.

You have all been and continue to be an inspiriation to me, especially the ones that struggle and keep going. Thanks!

i attended my first meeting yesterday (an at work program) and today was my first day on WW, even though I have had a life long problem with weight, this is my first experience with WW. So zero yet, its day one, but looking forward to posting on this thread.

Awwww :goodvibes , thanks Molli! Being on maintenance I don't get many Congrats anymore. You made me smile! :teeth: :goodvibes

And I agree with Molli - WEIGH TO GO EVERYONE! :cheer2:  :cool1: :grouphug:

WELCOME to WISH kidzmom3!!! :wave2: Please post with us whenever you can or want! Lots of great WWs here. ;)

Melrosgirl, I agree, muscle weighs more than fat and that could be what happened your first week. Hang in there. My last 20 lbs took me 20 weeks. Come here often for support :grouphug: and encouragement :cheer2: ! :sunny:

ohmom: Where in Ohio are you from? We are in Lorain County.

Welcome kidzmom3!

I live in Lorain Co (Ohio) also. I joined for about the fourt ime in three years five weeks ago. I figure I will join till I stick to it. I have to loose for the mouse ::MickeyMo . I have lost 21 pounds. But it is so slow (other that the first week). :wizard:

I join last July and have lost 35 so far but it has been a struggle since Oct. We had a 30 pound goal before out last WDW trip and made it to 25 and then gained a bunch inthe magical place. Those darned ice cream mouse ears... I recently have set another mickey goal and will work very hard to achieve it. 15 more until we go to WDW in a bit over 3 months. I really want it. I am back on track and ready to go. Stayed the same this week but at least it was not a gain. I lost 6.6 two weeks ago and am really happy just to be going in the same direction for more than 1 week.
Good luck to you all and keep up all the great work.

Here's to counting...

I joined WW online (and WISH) last July and by the end of Dec. I lost 28 pounds and was only about 8 pounds from my goal weight. Unfortunately, I am an emotional eater and due to a family tragedy in Jan., I put back on 12 of those pounds that I had lost. I didn't do WW for a couple of months and was able to at least maintain and not gain for a couple of months. I rejoined WW online about a month and a half ago. I had a slow start, but I think I'm finally back on track and in the past 2 weeks, I have lost 4 pounds. We are leaving for Disney on July 30th and I would like to lose at least 10 pounds by then. I'm hoping joining this thread will give me a little bit more motiviation and encouragement- everyone here seems so supportive!

Eek! I'm down another lb this week, never expected that. That makes 82 lbs total. I think I better do something different this week, just to stay the same. :sad2:

Have a GREAT WEEK Everyone!!! :cool1: Stay Cool, too! :smooth:

Hey Kim...

How funny is it that you don't WANT to lose weight? :goodvibes Your obviously doing something right :teeth:

Thanks Molli - It's hard to believe I've been doing WW for almost 10 months already. Time flies when your losing weight :goodvibes

Hi kidzmom3 and Welcome - You have taken the first step to getting healthy and this is the BEST place for modivation, ideas and support. Don't get discouraged if you have a bad week, just get back on the program. My best advice... drink your water and LOTS of it. Good luck

Tomorrow I'll be posting when I weigh in and I think it's going to be a good one ;)

Ah, but at the same time I must be doing something wrong. :guilty: I should be maintaining, not losing. :confused3 It's only been 2 weeks losing tho, but this is the lowest I've ever reached. :faint: Maybe I should :ssst: , or I'll jinx myself. :crazy2:

Good luck at WI tomorrow Teresa! :cheer2:

Well i don't know what to think! I've just completed my second week. This week's been nearly identical to my first week. However my first week I lost 14 pounds and this week I've put on 4 pounds! I guess that it must be the fluid in my body settling down, as my ankles look really puffy. Hopefully next week I'll be able to report another loss.

Congrats to all you big losers, and good luck to everyone! :goodvibes

Hi to everyone! I started WW flex program online on May 8 and, although I haven't posted anything on this board, I've been reading and you are really a wonderful and inspirational group. Thank you all for helping me to make it through my first 5 weeks.

So, including yesterday's WI, this is how I've done so far:

Week 1 - down 3.5 lbs
Week 2 - down 6.5 lbs
Week 3 - down 1 lb
Week 4 - no change (I'm guessing that this was hormonal!)
Week 5 - down 4 lbs
Total - down 15 lbs

I still have a long way to go, but after 5 weeks I'm beginning to believe that I can really do this. I look forward to posting along with the rest of you!

Hi all! Well I weighed in today and was happy to see that I lost 3 more pounds after a zero loss last week due to TOM. Yippee!!

We leave in a couple of hours for the airport to go to WDW! So, no weigh-in for me tomorrow. Good luck to everyone this week and to me; I hope I don't gain any weight while we are gone.

Welcome to the newbies and congrats to the losers!
