Since you are new at ww you probly dont know yet, but you earn points for excercising! That was always a great way for me to get a few extra points when i was NEEDING them! So you get a two for one deal, you get extra points to use and you are getting excercise! yeah! :cool1:

Also, not sure how you are spending points, but I found that if I really plan out my meals and snacks for the whole day ahead of time it helps me see where maybe I should go without something so i had points left for something else! Or where I would pick a lower point food to conserve points!
And, for me, i never use my flex points on a daily basis, just as needed... but if you think about it, those 35 flex points equal out to 5 pts a day! My hubby uses his on a take 5 bar per day... not my choice, but it is nice to have them there ifyou need them!
 
I lost .6 at WI on Monday. Just chuggin along!
 
I received a surprise at the scale today! After two hetic and crazy weeks (relatives in town) I actually lost 1.6 pounds!

So now I am 8.6 down yeah! next week - I am going to hit that 10 pound mark!
 
Forgot to post yesterday that I was down 2.4!! Hope I can do it again this week!.................P
 

Well, after a truly bad month, WI was today and I was down 4.8. Mind you that this is after losing .2 one week and gaining 1 last week so it's not all that great. :rolleyes: I am happy that I finally got my 25 lb. clippie which I have been wanting for quite some time.

Congratulations to all the losers this week and keep up the great work! I was only down .2 lbs this week (not bad I guess considering I slacked off on points and exercise). I hope next week it better!

I was pleasantly surprised to lose 1.4 pounds today at WW for a total of 53.4 pounds. I am SO going to be getting my 55 pound clippie next week and all my cruise weight will finally be gone. :goodvibes
 
Thrilled to report that I am down another 2 pounds this week, despite a rocky weekend! Have now lost 42.5 on WW, 24 of that since I started WISH on 1/17/05!
 
Great job to everyone with loses! I totally blew my diet out of the water since Friday night (chinese food with family) and then cookout with neighbors yesterday.... oh my. But I walked today and stayed on track (mostly), so hopefully the scales won't be too scary... but of course, it is TOM, so I can always blame it on that!......P
 
Wow you all are doing so good!! I am just joining WISH and this thread. I started WW 3 weeks ago and lost 5 pounds the first week and 2 each subsequent week-so 9 total! I am loving this program and have 3-4 friends that are doing it too. My loss goal is another 36-46 pounds which will put me right where I want to be (140-150). It is getting hot here so moving my exercise inside! I have those "walk away the pounds" DVD's and like the 2 and 3 mile walks so I am doing those too. I weigh in on Tuesdays and it is going to be a rough week-PMS.

Well, 1 lb up this week (on maintenance), back to 80 lbs total lost. Hey, I'm ok with this, especially after 4 days of being away. :earseek: I've still lost 8 more lbs than my original goal, so it's all good! ;)

After losing 100+ pounds, last year I suffered an injury and had to stop exercising. Needless to say the pounds started to pile back on, depression set in..... and here I am back again! :rolleyes:

This time I decided to try something different, so I joined WW's yesterday. I'm doing this OL as I don't have time to go to the meetings. I'm really excited! However I feel like I'm eating so much more food than I did last time I was losing weight, so I'm nervous that I'm not going to lose anything! I'm really looking forward to being a part of this great group of WISHers, and I'll be weighing in on Monday! :teeth:

I have been away for over a week. DH's grandmother unexpectedly passed away and we had to make an unscheduled trip to Tampa last week. So, WW went totally out the window! It's hard and near impossible to stay on plan driving to FL and back with my junk food addicted and very overweight in-laws! I love 'em, but...they sure do sabotage me. And all this after I was just back on track from our WDW vacation at the end of April!

I am very nervous about weighing in tonight! Keep your fingers crossed for me that it isn't too bad. I'll report back later tonight...

We didn't have WW this week due to Mem. Day. I know I didn't lose last week so I'm going to be really careful this week so I can see a loss!

Welcome Carrie & Catherine & OhMom! It is so nice to see everyone here. I know there are a variety of approaches to WW, with some people doing it on their own, some doing it on line, and some going to meetings. I think the most important thing is that we have all chosen a very sensible and balanced approach to losing weight.

We are working the plan, guys!!! :banana: :banana:

My personal challenge this week will be to learn to live with 2 less points as I have dropped down a range. Already had the experience yesterday of not counting as closely as I should have. Thank God for activity points! I have a feeling I am going to HAVE to earn them every day so that I will have a cushion until I figure out a new plan.

First step -- didn't get coffee and a bagel at my coffee shop this morning. Instead, I had a WW bagel w/ff cheese in the car on the way to work with a bottle of water. Having coffee in my office with carefully measured creamer.

thanks for the welcomes already! i just got finished doing 3 hours of yard work! figured I better have a WISH fix b4 making lunch!!

all my annuals are in the ground, miracle-gro'ed and they look happy :)

for lunch i'm having leftover grilled scallops and grilled veggies.

Cam - i'm very impressed that you measure your creamer! i just count 1 pt per day for it -- maybe I need a reality check??

I have been so busy, I haven't had a chance to check in. No weight loss the last 2 weeks. I have been eating my activity points because I have been earning so many of them, but now I am not losing.

Congrats to the losers and welcome to the new people and I will try to get on more.
 
WI last night was great! Even with going out of town unexpectedly (and eating very off plan), I lost 2.2 lbs.! That is major for me since I usually lose 1/2 to 1 lb. on a good week.

So, I am back, yet again, to my so-far lowest weight since starting WW in October. 4 more lbs. and I meet another mini-goal I gave myself. The reward is a mini shopping spree at Victoria's Secret! :cool1:
