WW Weekly Weigh-in

Kim - It's only been a couple of weeks, so it's still a work in progress.

Good job to everyone else that is doing so awesome!!!

As for me, I lost 3.8 this past week :banana: for a total of 57.6 pounds :banana: I claimed a new 55 pound clippie and only 2.4 away from my next 60 pound one :banana:
 
I've just joined this forum, so I thought I'd check out this thread. Long story short, I'm a lifetime WW who after 3 kids and 16 years is back in the saddle and ready to get serious about getting back into shape. I've benn back at WW for 6 weeks and down 10 lbs so far (weigh in is tomorrow). Short term goal is 20 lbs before DCL cruise to Mexico July 2nd, but long term goal is 57 lbs. Now to go check out the journal link...
 
morning girls -- quickly wanted to post my WI -- i dont' have a digital scale but it looked to be between .5 - 1 lb down! yea!!!!!! i'll take it, it seems to be moving a bit closer to the 140 than the 145 where it had been.

it was enough to motivate me to do my strength training this morning when i at first really really didn't want to!

About me: I first joined WW in January 2002 @ 217 lbs. I lost maybe 17 or so, and got right around the 200 mark. Then, back up to 210 area for quite some time. Finally, in January 2004 I decided 2004 was going to be different! I had joined Curves and was going faithfully three times a week already. So I started counting points on my own. I successfully got to about 185 or so and maintained my loss through November 2004. At that time I joined WW @ work to get me through the holidays. By February 2005, I was around 168-169. I changed jobs, so no more WW @ work. I've been maintaining b/w 168 & 173. Today I was 174!!!! :sad2: Now, granted, I've not been "good" lately, but I've held steady! So, back on the saddle for me! Today is day one! So far:

One Luna bar - 4 pts.
One Turkey & Ham Subway 6 inch, no cheese or mayo, lots of veggies - 5 pts and one bag of Lite Lays - 1 pt.

I've got just over 10 weeks til our Disney Vacation - My goal is 157 by then - an even 60 lbs since Jan. 2002! I may actually rejoin meeting, but I'm going to try 3-4 weeks on my own first! :cheer2:
 

today was my first weigh in after my first week of points. down 6.6 lbs!

My youngest son slept in this morning (not normal for him) so I couldn't attend the meeting (he didn't wake up until the meeting start time). I used my scale, and my weight was the same as last weigh-in. That's a positive thing for me! Usually this week of the month I've gained back a pound or more. Well, time to go drink some more water!
 
WI today was down 2.8 - NEW CLIPPIE!!!

After a long time hovering I've finally started losing again. I think the WATP tapes are really the key right now.
 
:Pinkbounc I am jumping for joy, I lost 2.2 lbs last night. 1.6 mor and it will be 25. This is my incentive to start exercising again. That and I have to get in shape for walking in Disney.

well i had my nine week weigh in on monday and I have lost 3STONE 5POUND!!!!!

Iam so happy! I ope I lose alot more before my holiday

so i havent posted my weekly weigh in for awhile, been so busy since the kids got out of school. I am jonesing for some dis time! lol!

I have been on a bit of a plateau.... not a complete standstill, but really not seeing the scale go down. Seems I have broken thru! Yeah!!!!! :cheer2:

This week I am down 3.2 for a total of 34!
I am so excited!
I went a few weeks ago to get some new clothes, which for me is one of the greatest rewards of the weight loss, fitting into smaller sizes!
None of my old clothes fit, they just fall off and look rediculous!
Now, even some of the new ones are getting baggy! I am just so stinking happy! It is so great to be able to see how your hard work is paying off!

Keep up the great work everyone!
 
gabbygrennell - Congratulations on your loss. I agree with you about one of the greatest rewards of weight loss is buying clothes. It's amazing how much I LOVE to go shopping now, especially since I can finally fit into those "cute" clothes. Keep up the great work
 
I agree, Gabby and Tera :) I just love shopping now! We should all go "virtual" shopping together some day :rotfl2:

Well I was expecting a super-duper WI but only got a .8 lb loss :confused3 So will all my messing around I am STILL 4.2 lbs from goal :mad: I should be able to make goal in two weeks but the rate I've been going it might not be until Labor Day :rolleyes:

Sorry you didn't have a big loss, but it at least was a loss. I know how frustrating it can be when your hoping for something big and it turns out small :guilty: You'll be to that goal soon and hey, maybe we'll hit it at the same time :cool1: I'm only aboutg 5 pounds off (from my WW goal)
 
I was up a lb today, so after all my worrying about losing on maintenance, I got one back. ;) No sweat, I actually feel better now. :)

Tomorrow is the "official" weigh day.... however, I checked the scales this a.m. - 170.5! Whoo-hooO! Down 2.5 lbs so far!
 
Wow, congratulations to all who are doing so well.

I'm a little discouraged this week - at yesterday's WI I was up .5 lb. I thought I was really sticking to the program, but I was not as good as I should have been about water. So this week I'll drink more water and try to exercise as much as possible. The important thing is to keep trying, right?
 
Congrats to everyone!

I usually weigh in on Saturdays but I had to go a day early on Friday b/c we went away for the weekend. I was up .6 lbs. and I didn't do a great job of staying on track at all over the weekend. :rolleyes: Hopefully I'll be able to do better this week. :sunny:
 
Hi, everyone! Well, I had been hoping last week's 2.5 gain (?) was a fluke, and it seems to have evened out. Lost 4.0 this week. That also brings my 5 for June total to a net of 2 lost. Hoping to get that other 3 in the next 9 days.

Keep up the great work! Remember this is a great program -- the progress we are all reading about here proves it!
