weighed in this morning. down another 1.5 pounds which makes it 21 since my surgery, 10.5 since starting WISH on 1/17, and 6.5 for February. The numbers aren't big, but they are steady! Thanks eveyrone!
I gained this week. Up 1.5 lbs. I know it's because I didn't get enough exercise, so it's back to the treadmill I go. Thanks to everyone here who's so supportive!
I only use my points if I really need them, for a dinner out or party or I really need that 7&7!
I am down 2 pounds this week!
I do plan ahead. I make out menus 2 weeks in advance so that I know what I am having that day and not trying to decide at the last minute. It really works to keep on track.
My doc. said I am at the "high end of normal." Which I firmly believe is not normal for me. They will only up my meds for now by having me take 2 pills on Sunday. No re-check until April. In the meantime, I am following plan and my weight is all over the place! Nevermind, I have many other hypothyroid symptoms too. Every time they want me to just take two pills on Sunday, it doesn't work, then they up my meds every day after 6-8 weeks of this. I know that's standard protocol - but it never works for me! ARGH!
For now, I'll just keep plugging away... Vent over - thanks!
I finally broke down this AM and weighed myself sans clothes. My WI is Friday, so I posted yesterday, but this AM I decided to see what I'd be without - I may have to weigh that way always since I'm weighing at home and I'd get a more accurate readout anyway. I was down 2 lbs from yesterday, so I guess my clothes weighed 2 lbs and I will now be consistent in what I am or am not wearing, in this case, for future WIs. Have a great weekend, guys! Shawn
My friend, who attends WW with me, took off her shoes at the last Weigh in, and it showed she lost 5 lbs. She went home and weighed her shoes. They weigh 3lbs.
It was hard and I was hungry a lot but it was so exciting to get on the scale this morning and see the loss. I've been wanting to weigh myself all week but I've held off. I'm so glad I did because it was so gratifying to see that lowered number. I'm kind of shocked because last week was totally fly by the seat of my pants in terms of eating because I had no idea what would work for low Point snacks and what to eat for dinner every day because our normal dinner items are definitely not OP.
I did a bunch of menu planning for next week today and did my shopping. I've also figured out that it's a lot easier for me to plan my day out the night before. Doing it that way allows me to control what I'm doing day to day. It's only the second week but I'm enjoying the challenge of finding new recipes and snacks that fit into my plan.
All of my loss was without any exercise but I know that I've got to get that going soon. It can only help and I'm sure it will make a difference when the basic loss starts to slow down.
Third week on the program, 10.1 pounds so far! It was a little tougher this week because we had a church retreat and everyone went out to eat. Luckily we ended up an Applebee's which has a Weight Watchers menu. It was really good, the lemon berry cheesecake was wonderful!
Well, boring maintenance again, but this time I'm up .5 lb. I guess this 1/2 lb is my back & forth friend/foe, but it's better than 2 lbs, or more - back and forth.
Oh, Sunny, that is so frustrating. That has happened to be before too. I do like weighing in every other week or every three weeks (since I am lifetime, I only pay for when I go) because I usually will have some sort of lose. But when I was going every week, I remember those weeks where I gained.
Hang in there! It will come off. Stay on program and drink your water. It will happen!
I missed my weigh-in this week because I was out of town. My scale at home shows up one pound but I wasn't very good while on my weekend away. Hopefully I can lose it this week before WI on Saturday.
