Hello Fellow WWers...

Todays weigh in went very well and I lost 2.8 pounds for a total of 40.6 pounds. I'm now currently at 167.4 (started at 208 in August) and am now shooting for those 150's. Only 10 weeks left till our vacation, so I need to keep it going.

Wow! That is great! We sound like we have similar goals. I was around the same starting weight and I am hoping to get to 145 before our cruise in 2006. For our 2005 trip to WDW (in July), I am hoping to get down to 170.

Small steps....but they do add up over time.
Thanks for posting! Your post encouraged me!

down 1.5 this week for 5 total in February, 9 since I started WISH and 19.5 since coming home from the hospital on 1/7.

Wow! You have all done SO WELL !!!!. I'm struggling a bit but forced myself to weigh in this morning. I gained 7 pounds back in 10 days. I hope some of that is water weight........ Uggh!

I'm thinking about staying on the flex plan but changing it a bit to follow Oprah's boot camp. Has anyone given the boot camp workout a try?

I'm trying a new WW recipie tonight "Steak w/ Red pepper sauce". I'll let you know how it is tomorrow. By the way... thanks for the tip on the english muffin w/ laughing cow cheese - sounds yummy.

Still trying to plan our trip for November (either first week or week before Thanksgiving). My sister wants to consider us all staying in one of those offsite Villas that sleeps 12 and is 5 minutes from Disney. She has a 6,4,2 and at that time a 12 week old. We have a 9 and 10 year old. It did look kind of nice and we probably would save on food. Has anyone ever gone this route? :confused3

I lost 4.2 lbs this week for a total of 14.8lbs now. I was sick this week, and I am sure that has something to do with the large loss. I did drink a ton of water though, even though I wasn't very hungry.

Hi Mushu....I always stay offsite in a villa or we rent a house...I actually prefer it although I know many people will not even consider it! We rented a home with its own swimming pool in formosa gardens last time and now my kids are spoiled....they want their own pool!! :rotfl: It really does save alot of money if your budget is a concern and it enables you to eat b'fast b4 you go which also saves $$. Last time we went it was really hot and my 2 dd's started crying that they wanted to go back to the house instead of staying at WDW that day!! Go figure :goodvibes You can find houses at villas2000.com or allstarvacationhomes.com....we also like the timeshares - some good deals can be found there too!

KimRaye- Wow!!! I peeked at your b4 and after pictures.....Congratulations   What an inspiration!! I can't wait to post my "after" pictures but right now I am still in the "B4" stage!!! :rotfl:

Keep up the good work this week everyone and I hope to read about lots of losses!!! (it keeps me going)

I just posted a little about this in a separate thread, but anyway we just got back from staying at a pool house in Windsor Palms and we loved it (and we're big fans of staying onsite). I honestly think it helped my weight mgmt alot. I ate my normal small breakfast at the house, and we only had one big meal out every day (usually for lunch, so we had time to walk it off). Dinner was usually a small sandwich. By doing this, we were able to eat at some nice sit-down places (Le Cellier, Boma, Biergarten, Kona Cafe, Fresh) but our overall food spending for the day was still pretty cheap. And I came home down a pound, instead of my usual gain. Might be worth a try for you!

Thanks DJ - There are so many people that have inspired me over the past 6 months, it's a great feeling when I'm able to do that for someone else.

How tall are you? I'm just under 5'4" and I carry all my weight in my butt and thighs areas. I'm wondering if I'll be happy at 140 or if I need to go a little lower. We'll wait and see....

Mushu - I'm sure most of that is water weight. I don't think it's possible to put that much "weight" on in just 10 days. Drink LOTS of water (I drink over 100 ounces) to help flush that out.

KimRaye- Wow!!!
 Thanks Barbara.

Oh, I lost 1/2 a lb this week, too. ;) I've lost 6.5 lbs on maintenance. Can't complain about that!

LOVE WW!!!! :lovestruc

OMG!!! I lost 3.5 lbs. this week  I was really dreading getting on the scale because I had been out of town for the 3 day weekend and was not able to stay on CORE. I think that part of that weight loss is due to not eating regular meals though. Sometimes we wouldn't eat lunch until 2:30 or 3:00, and then all I'd have for dinner was a bowl of oatmeal and fruit. (We had a microwave and frig in our room.)

Also, I've noticed that since I haven't been eating fried foods, my body doesn't tolerate them well. Had Chick-fil-A at the airport and felt bloated for the entire 3.5 flight to Phoenix!

Well It usually happens to me every couple of months.. Im on a roll doing great.. Then I get WAY to Sure of Myself, eat a few more things here and there..etc.. And BOOM Gain.. So Im up 2.2lbs.. BOO HOO..
So thats my wake up call.. Refocus, Count, and WATCH what Im putting in my mouth.. Yes that little Hershery Kiss COUNTS!!!.
So off to a week of working it off..

Congrats to all you "losers" this week.. I will join you again next week!!!

I weigh in tomorrow - maybe. This week I've stayed OP, but have eaten ALL my flex points which I never do, and today the scale shows a 5 lb gain.

To top it off, my meeting has been cancelled. It was new in Jan, and had to have 18 by last week, and we only had 17. So now there really isn't a good timed meeting for me. With kids it's really hard to make a 9 a.m. WI and nights aren't an option. Saturday's there's 2 meetings here, but both are over 100 people, takes an hour in line to WI and then it's standing room only.
There is a Fri a.m. meeting, but my DS is a gymnast and we are gone most Friday's so that, too would end up hit or miss for me.

Weight gain, meeting problems coupled with TOM being late (which is normal at 44+) I'm REALLY bummed and frustrated.

Thanks for listening to my vent! I'll let you know what happens. I won't give up......hopefully!

Sorry I haven't checked in for a while. We were on vacation last week and I am trying to catch up with everything this week.

I lost 2 pounds! I only need 3 more pounds before I get my next clippy!

Congrats Losers!

Last week I had a 1.8 gain and I was terribly upset. I had my thyroid checked again and I got the call today - it is indeed up again. On one hand that's good since I know the gain wasn't my fault after all. But then again, it just makes my weight loss journey even more frustrating!

On a great note though, I had weigh in last night, and ...... I lost 3.2 lbs.! I lost the gain of the previous week plus 1.4 lbs. That is the biggest one week loss I ever have had. I am down a total of 17.2 and almost half way to goal. And that loss was without the increase in my thyroid meds yet. So that tells me my thyroid is probably fluctuating pretty crazy right now.

Thanks again for all the encouragement last week - it really helped!
Kristi

Today's weigh in was down 2.8 pounds for a total of 21 pounds gone. I'm out of town all next week for work in Los Angeles which include trips to Disneyland the weekend before and after. this is going to be the biggest challenge I've faced so far.

Diane

"Weigh" to go Kristi! :cheer2: Glad to hear your questions have been answered about your thyroid. And how great to hear that you're almost halfway to your goal! Keep it up!

Hi all!

I'm new to WW and W.I.S.H. I start WW next Sunday after I go buy a scale. Believe it or not, I have no idea how much I weigh and haven't owned a scale for more years than I can remember.

DH and I are going to WDW for the first extended trip ever in December and I know I will enjoy it more if I lose weight. I am doing WW Online only so there really isn't the same kind of support that you get with meetings and the WW message boards don't seem to be as supportive as this one so I thought I would try here.

You are all inspirational and I can't wait until I get to post my first clippie! See you around!

Down 3 lbs this week, for a total loss of 12 lbs in 5 weeks. More importantly, I have been consistently using the TM most every night, which is huge progress for me.

Welcome!!! I lost all my weight doing WW online, and with the help from all the great WISHers here, and exercise, and water, blah, blah, blah. ;)

Here's to that first clippie!! :cheer2:

I started WW last week. Had my first weigh-in tonight, I lost 4.6 lbs, that coupled with my 2 pound loss before joined WWmeans I get a clip.
