I know I am behind in my posting, but I have been so super busy. I think the nicer weather makes for a busier life.
luckywife, sorry about the gain, but as been said, .2 really is not much, itis only 2/10th of a pound, which could be water weight. And KJo719, .5 is a half pound, so that isn't shabby and although staying the same isn't a loss, it isn' a gain either.
As for me, I stayed the same this week and I finally made lifetime. My leader wasn't there and we had this terrible leader, she said we had to wait until my leader came back to celebrate (which was fine), but she didn't even mention it at the meeting, which made me sad. But luckily after I went out to dinner with some WW buddies and we celebrated, one of my buds gave me some flowers and a really cute Vera Wang insulated lunch sack to bring all of my healthy treats to work in style. So as silly as it sounds, I am not taking my goal clippie until I "official" get my key this week at WI.
Hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend!
Onward and downward!
GREAT ADVICE, AS ALWAYS!!!Thanks to you all for your congratualtions and kind words. I am touched that you feel I have been an inspiration because there have been so many here who have inspired me.
This has been a long journey for me and the first time I was in denial and that is why I regained some of the weight. This time I feel like I have learned a tremendous amount of information and have discovered a lot about myself. I am hoping this time around is the last time for me, I feel I have changed my life to a new way of eating and living and this time I feel like I am in control. If I can do this anyone can do this!
Andrea_loves_Disney, stay true to yourself, if you really want this, you can do this! Over the years I was always trying to lose weight for others, when I finally realized I needed and wanted to do this for me, things changed. I think before I eat now and I plan and that is huge. You can do this!
Onward and downward!
DITTO!!!!!!!!! Let us know Debbie!!Congratulations!!!!! Tiggerlover!!!! I'm so happy for you!!! I hope your regular leader gives you the celebration you deserve this week!!! We are all proud of you!!

I know, I know!Kim, I understand your frustration and as you know the closer you are to your goal the harder it gets. I have also discovered that the older I get, the harder it is to lose the weight. Have patience (I know hard to do), a pound in two weeks still isn't bad, I know you know a loss is a loss and not a gain! Have you tried changing things up a little, maybe your body is used to what you have been fueling it with and needs some changes? I know my leader always suggests that when I feel like things are slowing down. Or check back over your journals, see where you had a good week and try replicating it. But most of all hang in there, you have done it once, you CAN do it again!
FABULOUS!!!My WI is on Mondays and it was cancelled due to the holiday, so I went to a different meeting tonight to get weighed in. I am new to WW, so I felt like I really couldn't skip a meeting this soon if I want to stay on track.
I am so glad I went to the trouble! I lost 3.2!! I'm so excited! That's 11.4 since I started on 4/23!! Yahoo!

I know, I know!I have changed the foods I'm eating, sorta, but I think my body is going into that 'reserve fat' mode!
I've been depleted of those usual maintenance points I had. That's why I was wondering if, after all these years of doing WW, that MAYBE I need a fast/fad diet to get jump-started and then get back to points again??
Again Debbie, THANKS!!!!!!!

Thanks Debbie.Wow, Kim, this is a first for me, but I am at a loss for words. Are you doing this on your own or are you attending meetings? If you are attending meetings, have you discussed this with your leader to get her insight? I wish I had something I could say, but I am perplexed on this one. I do think you may need something to jumpstart you losing again, but I am not sure what that is. I am going to talk around with my WWer buddies and see if anyone has any thoughts for you.
Thanks Debbie.I'm doing WW online, just like always.

Congratulations tiggerlover! I hope to make lifetime at some point in my lifetime.
I've had such a destructive week. It started with Memorial Day celebrations and just continued all week. I have WI tomorrow and although I know I should be back on track already, I've decided to just keep up the bad habits and start anew tomorrow. Maybe I need to see the gain to snap out of it. This is some funk I'm in and I need to get out of it.
I hope y'all have a better time than I'm having at the moment.
Im SOOOOOOOOO GLAD you enjoyed your LIFETIME ACCOMPLISHMENT!!!!!!!!!!I weighed in tonight and my regular leader was back....yeah!!! So many members complained to her about her awful replacement last week, she said she will try not to use her again! Anyway, she was very excited that I made lifetime and she really made it special for me. She changed things up and presented lifetime first when she was doing awards and as she was calling me up, I hear a WAIT come from behind me and the next thing I know some of my WW buddies are putting a pink boa and a flashing princess crown on me! I was so touched, it really made up for last week. And the icing on the cake was that I lost another .8 this week.
So thanks to you all for helping me through this journey, you all have a huge inpact on my success. I look forward to many more years here with my WISH buds!!!![]()
Onward and downward!!
Ditto Kathy on Debbie's accomplishment!Congratulations Tiggerlover. I'm so glad you had a wonderful celebratory meeting tonight. You deserve it. It sounds like you've made some nice friends at your meeting. That new shiny red GOALribbon looks marvelous on you!!!!
KimRaye- Hang in there. 1 pound in 2 weeks is pretty good in my book, and even though it is slow, slower is sometimes better and will stay off easier. At least that's what I keep telling myself. I can't imagine only having 19 points. That must be tough. I'm having a hard time with 25 lately. Good luck to you.
WEIGH TO GO Daisy!!!!!!!!Way to go Tiggerlover!!! How exciting for you!!! keep up the good work. I myself am just plugging away. I love 2 pounds last week and another .8 this week. I am now down 13.8 this is the best that I have done since I joined. Way to go to everyone else just keep up the good work.![]()
