This past Monday I had my first weigh-in after joining WW @ Work and I was down 4 pounds! :woohoo: I have had a really good week so far and I hope my meeting on Monday will show a loss just as big. :)

I think exercise really does help. If I could just get to my classes on a regular basis......
It DOES help!! Hope you get to your classes. :thumbsup2

Have a great WW Week everyone! :cheer2:

I was up the .2 I had lost last week this morning at WW. I went to a wedding on saturday, and ate and drank like I had never heard of weight watchers, :guilty: sooooo its a new start this week. Next weekend I'm going to visit my DBro, and DSIL, and they both started WW last month, so I'll be able to stay on program pretty easily.

Congrats to all you losers here! :cool1: You're all so inspirational!!

Have a great week everyone!! :cheer2:

Well, I had my second weigh-in tonight and I am down -2.4lbs!!!!! YAY!!

I also started the Couch to 5k program yesterday, so tomorrow I'll be doing day 2.

Hope there are even more LOSERS this week!!! :cool1:

I'm thinking of changing WW classes from Wednesday nights to Saturday mornings. I just drag in the evenings and I think getting up and just going to class on Saturdays might be better for me. After class we could go to the gym. :thumbsup2

mermaid, I always go to morning meetings. I can't imagine spending the whole day knowing weigh in was coming. I don't want to worry about "also weighing" my food and water intake for the day, you know? I like to know I am weighing in empty.

I also prefer mornings for the energy boost I always have at that time, and I always go walking or to the gym afterwards.

Today was my WW weighin, and I was down 3.2 pounds! My last weighin was on Saturday Sept 30th, so this is a week and a half weight loss. I'm very happy, I got another 5 pound star today!! :cool1:

I hope to hit "60 pounds lost" by the end of this month!! 4 more pounds to go to that new milestone....in three weeks; I think I can, I think I can.....

Boy, I go away for awhile and come back and look at our bunch of losers!!! Congrats Becka, Katy Belle, CBRorBust, kbmoo! Awesome job gang. (If I missed anyone I am sorry, but woo hoo for you too!)

Hang in there Mikamah, .2 is not all that bad. Hopefully this will be a better week for you.

Mermaid02, I am a "weigher" too. Have tried to break the habit, but haven't been too sucessful. I am hard on myself even though I know all too well about body fluctuations.

Now for me, I am back from celebrating my 20th anniversary with DH, we had a wonderful weekend, I made good choices our first day, but did indulge in champagne (and didn't count it), but the second day I totally tanked. We woke up at our beautiful B&B, had a great breakfast and then hopped into our fairly new car to go siteseeing and the car was dead! Here we are in the mountains, without cell phone service, 250 miles from home and our car is dead. We were so remote it took us 5 hours to get a tow truck to come tow us 50 miles and then another 3 hours to get the battery and alternator fixed. I was stressing and was offered free food.....gasp...a double cheeseburger from McDonald's (I haven't eaten at Mickey D's in 3 years!) and then later while waiting for my car we ate at Red Lobster....yikes!!! A lot of emotional eating for sure. But the bottom line at weigh in tonight is that I lost .2. It isn't much, but it isn't the gain I was expecting so I am happy. Now the car is fixed and since it is still under warranty we think they will reimburse us our $600, so I am even happier.

Onward and downward gang....hope you all have a great week!

Oh Tiggerlover! So sorry about your car! Congratulations on your .2 loss.

Congratulations to all you losers! I come to this thread every day to see how everyone is doing. You are an inspiration.

As for weighing everyday....guilty :guilty: In the very beginning I was weighing twice a week, now its every morning and every night. I can see a 3lb fluctuation from night to morning. My weigh day was good, but I've been up every day since. Hoping to get back down by Sunday again. ugh.

Hang in there everybody! We can do this.

I was thinking about this journey...I have gone to 11 exercise classes in the last 6 weeks. I know that isn't much compared to many of you, but that is more exercise than I have had in the past 15 years! It takes a lot of effort and it really is a life style change, but we can do this!

Katy, whatever works, imho. ;) 3lbs from AM to PM does NOT surprise me. Sounds typical to me.

11 in 6 weeks? Sounds like you're doing MORE than you did before, right? That's a POSITIVE! :thumbsup2 Keep it up. ;) The journey is reaching your life style change. You sound like you know that. ;) Keep up the great job! :cheer2:

Have a great WW week everyone!!! :woohoo:

Hate to ask: How's everyone doing with the HALLOWEEN CANDY temptation? I've already eaten a few 'fun size' bars. I rarely ate candy before, why am I 'wanting' it now? (Maybe PMS)

My advice: PLAN for eating it, if you're so inclined. You have Flex points, use them. :thumbsup2 Seriously, be READY for all that chocolate/sugar. I know, in the past, the online WW site had a listing of many of the point values of our Fave candy. Check it out and, PLAN! :teeth:

Katy, you are right about this being a journey.

What I have learned is that this is a lifetime journey. After I lost my first 60 pounds I thought I knew what I was doing, this was a lifetime change, I can handle anything and I wasn't going to gain the weight back...ever, I never wanted to be a size 24 again. Well that overconfidence didn't prevent me from gaining weight back until I approached a very tight size 14 and the realization hit that I really didn't want to go back to where I was and this wasn't a diet it is a lifestyle. So now I know that this is my life and I have to deal with the ups (gains) and downs (losses) forever. Exercise is great, if I can add it to my day that is great, all the better for me, but if I don't tomorrow is another day. I will have to incorporate these changes forever if I want to keep the scale down.

Kim, haven't had too much problems with the Halloween candy, I refused to buy chocolate this year, instead I am giving out handfuls of tootsie rolls, thereby getting rid of my temptation. Now I am not sure how it will be once Tyler brings the loot home, but I am going to try really hard to resist.

Onward and downward we go!!

Hi everyone. Just stopping by to see how everyone's doing and keep motivated.

I'm with you guys who are weighers. I don't have a scale at home, but weigh myself every morning I'm at work, and when I use my mom's bathroom. Just a habit, that's hard to break. Both of the scales are about 3 pounds higher than WW, but I like having the knowledge that I'm on track, or going up. If I'm doing good, sometimes that's worse and I slack in the eating dept, but if I'm up a little, it usually motivates me to eat better.

Katy belle- Sounds like you're doing great, and every bit of exercise helps. I'm not a big exerciser. I try to walk a few times a week, but don't always make it. My WW leader suggested using some arm weights while watching your favorite program, so I'm going to try that tomorrow while watching Grays Anatomy. Hang in there. You will do it! :cool1:

Happy Anniversary Tiggerlover. party: Hope you were able to enjoy your trip, even with the nightmare car problems. Mcdonalds can taste so good when you are stressed.

As for Halloween candy, I haven't bought any yet, but there's already plenty at work. Some days I'll indulge, and some days I don't. I always try to use my points for it. I do better if I have a little bit, rather than wanting it and not having it and then binging big time.

Keep up the great work everyone. :cheer2:  :cool1:

:thumbsup2 Great job, Kathy! Flex points are there for a reason! ::yes::

I am joining in and I Hope all don't mind.

I started back on WW on Monday (not in the meetings, by myself). Long story short, my scale was bad/old and way off. I got a new one and it shocked me what it said on Sunday. I gained almost 10 pounds since Disney in Jan even with all the fast walking I have been doing. (well over 1000 minutes a month)

I also cut out all the diet soda this week and I can see the scale likes what I am doing this week. :cheer2: So far down 3 lbs

Well I started on Monday the 9th, 2 months until my b-day. I am determined to lose 10 (back to my wedding weight) by then and then at least another 20 more until summer. I will still be overweight then but it is a start....

Welcome PaulaSue, we all need support and people to share with. Happy Anniversery TiggerLover-I can relate to car problems on vacation. KimRaye thanks for keeping us all motivated. Keep up the great work everyone. I weighed in today and was down 1.2 lbs. Slow and steady, but I am down 23.8 now. My goal this week is to get some excercise in. I would love to get to the 25 lb point. I still have along way to go though, 40-50 lbs. My parents are taking our whole family to Hawaii next year in November, so I have a goal to work toward. Plus next year I will be 50. So that would be a great feeling!

Down .8 this week but the most important thing is I am out of the 180's and am now in the 170's!!! :cheer2: I'm happier today than I was when I lost 5+ pounds the first week!!

I just joined WW today and had my first weigh in and meeting. Even though I know how much I weighed, give or take a couple of pounds, it was still shocking to see it there and then have someone write it down. UGH!

My mom is doing it with me so it will be easier to have someone in it with me as well and be supportive. But its hard already. The sweetpea wanted Jack in the Box for dinner. Seeing how many points eat item was made me wonder just how many points I normally eat in a day. She understands that me being in WW also means a healthier way of eating for her, so she read the book to see how many points she was going to eat.

I am already worried about next weigh in. Hopefully I can just follow my points and not cheat.
