WW Weekly Weigh-in

Does everyone wear the same clothes each week? My first meeing and WI was last Thursday and one lady was very very strict about that, she said that digital scales make the biggest difference, but then she said she'd gained back to where she'd started so she was a bit upset.

I don't have a ton to lose, about 30 pounds, so should I be that strict on what I wear? Last week I wore blue jean capri's and a pullover top....I'm sure blue jeans are heavy, and come to think of it I didn't seen anyone else in blue jeans, they must have thought I was crazy LOL

Weigh day here brought good news. I am down 3.8lbs for the week, putting me at 8.8 over the 4 weeks I've been doing this :cool1: I am thrilled. I did try really, really, really hard to stay within my points this week. Last week I was only down 1lb, so I thought maybe it would be better this time. Hoping for 2.2 more lbs next Sunday!

TheRatPack, I think people try to have "weigh clothes" so that they are always the same. Or at least try to have approximately the same weight of clothes, not shorts and a T-shirt one week and jeans and a sweater the next. I am just doing WW online, so I weigh in the privacy of my own home ;)

Mermaid02, Congratulations to you! I'm going to try the Green Tea.

Kathy, Have fun with Free Dining and Mickey!

TiggerLover, 1.8 is great!

Everybody keep up the good work!!! I know I am doing better because of this board. Thanks to all!
Katy :sunny:

BIG CONGRATS to Mermaid02 and Katy.......great weekly losses!!! Keep up the great work!!!

As for your question TRP, I wear the same clothes each week, the colors differ, but the shirts and shorts are the same style and fabric weight. I realize when winter comes I will have to transition to pants, but as long as it is still warm enough here I will be in my "weigh clothes."

I weigh on Tuesday and I am a bit nervous, had two big events this weekend. Friday I think I made good choices and did alright, but yesterday was another story. I tried accounting for all of my points and have used up all of my FLEX points, but on a couple of things I guesstimated. So the proof will be in the weigh in on Tuesday!!!

As expected, the weigh in was not great, I am only down .2 for a grand total of 9#, but a loss is a loss and I will take it. I know I had two days where I wasn't making the greatest choices, so I know why. Tomorrow is a new day and I will be back at it again in the morning.

Hope you all have a great week!

9 POUNDS is FANTASTIC!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1: :woohoo: You're doing GREAT Debbie! :cheer2:

Thanks, Katy and Kim!! It is because of support from you and others that keeps me going. I really appreciate it.

I am at a good place right now and I am fine with the small losses as I am operating that the slow loss will help me to keep it off in the long run.

My WW leader said last night if you believe it, you can achieve it!! I think if we all believe hard enough and work towards that goal that we will achieve.

Keep on keeping on gang.....onward and downward we go!!!!

I have been MIA since we were in CA for the Disneyland 1/2 marathon. Tonight was my first weigh in in three weeks & I was so nervous! I almost didn't go. I dragged myself there and was ecstatic I was only up .4! :rotfl: Weird - when you complete 13.1 miles, you think you can eat anything & everything in sight! :teeth:

Keep up the great work everyone!
I will read back through this thread when I have time to catch up.

I'm so happy about this thread.

I joined WW 3 weeks ago tomorrow. Down about 4 pounds so far. Tomorrow is weigh-in. I've always weighed myself everyday, this time I don't weight myself at all. I'm always surprised at weigh-in--whether it's good or bad.

I like having this extra support. Someone to cheer you up when you've gained and cheer with you when you've lost.

I've read a lot of great weigh losses! Keep up the good work everyone!

Just wanted to repeat something our leader said at the last meeting.

We say we "lost" weight. When something is lost you look for it--you want it back. We should say we got rid of it. That way we don't want it back.

Kristi, awesome for you completing a marathon, that is impressive. I know what you mean about giving ourselves permission to eat more when we are doing more. .4 isn't much in the grand scheme of things so I am sure you will see the weight coming off now that you are home.

KATHINOWA, love the quote, that is a good one to remember. And congrats on your success to date.

I lost .2 this week to bring me up to an even 30. I'm psyched about that. I had used up all my flex points this week, plus about 18 extras, so any loss is a great loss for me this week.

Everyone here is doing so great. It really helps to come here and hear about everyone's ups and downs, and to keep motivated to stick with it, because it does work.

Keep up the awesome work everyone!! :cheer2: We will all get to goal if we stick with it!! :cool1:

Kathy, Congratulations on the even 30!!! I cannot wait to be there!

Great news for me this week. I'm down 1.2lbs putting me at 10lbs down after 5 weeks!!! My goal of 30lbs by Dec. 8 is going to be tough, but I will try.

I'm especially thrilled with my lost because I had a rough weekend food wise. Spent a lot of points in beer on Thurs night. Ate a burger at Johnny Rockets on Friday night. Went to a potluck last night and went way over points. The good news is, I did really well the rest of the week and still showed a loss! Ready to be really good this week.

Good luck at weigh-in everybody!

Yes, YES, YES, you will!!! And, even tho I'm still trying to maintain everyday, it's sometimes still a daily struggle, life-change that HAS to be made/done in order to achieve, succeed and maintain. :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

It CAN be done tho! :grouphug: REALLY!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Congrats to our LOSERS!!! :woohoo: :cheer2: :thumbsup2 ;)

Down 2.2 this week. 6 pounds in 3 weeks. I've stayed away from temptation. Went to a few kids' parties and said no thanks to the pizza, cake, cupcakes.

I always thought if I said no to the cake, people would say "Oh, are you on a diet?" I wouldn't want anyone to know I was on a diet because that meant I should be on a diet. (Not that they couldn't tell by looking at me!)

Ya know what?? No one cared that I didn't have the cake and pizza! Not one person said "why aren't you having cake?" No one was interested in what I was or was not eating.

Funny how you play these mind games with yourself. I never cared that people would say "she's eating that!!"

Have a great week everyone!

Mikamah, congrats on losing 30# that is FANTASTIC!!! :thumbsup2

Katy, another 1.2 down, go girl!!!! At the rate you are going you will make that December goal. :cool1:

KATHYINIOWA, great 3 week loss, keep up the great work.

As for me, I am having a better week so am hoping that will reflect in Tuesday's WI. Have a great week everyone. Onward and downward!

Too funny, and boy can I relate. I went to a birthday party yesterday and did the exact opposite of you. I ate the chip and dip, the pizza, and the cake, using up 25 flex points!! I'm ok today, and need to be the rest of the week. Congrats to you on your loss and your amazing will power!!!

Tiggerlover- hang in there. It is so hard to stick with it when the losing is slow, but slow and steady is the way to go. You're doing great!! Good luck at WI this week. :cheer2:

Kristi- Congratulations running the half-marathon. Thats an awesome accomplishment. Glad your weigh-in wasn't too bad.

Kimraye- I can only imagine that maintenance is as difficult, if not more than losing. I'm sure you feel you've finished the battle and reached goal, but then you still have to work hard to stay there, and not go back to old bad habits. You're doing great and are an inspiration to all of us. :thumbsup2 Thanks.

Congrats Kathinowa, Katybelle, and all you others losers here. You are doing great.

Have a super, losing week everyone!!!!!

Well, I'm a newbie to the thread and just went through my first week of WW. I lost 5.2lbs this week! So I'm really excited. I did WW right before my wedding and was very successful with it. Unfortunately being a newlywed AND a new teacher knocked me off the wagon and I gained it all back...and then some!

So this time around I'm doing it with my Sister-in-Law and two other friends and hopefully we will continue to motivate each other. :cheer2:

CBRorBust, congratulations on your first week loss, that is wonderful!!!! Keep up the great work.

I weighed in tonight and I finally made my 10 pound this time around. Down another pound, so I am averaging a pound a week. Only 14 pounds left to my goal!!!

Onward and downward, gang! :cool1:
