tiggerlover said:Congratulations Becka and Quinn222, what great first weeks for you both!!!! Great first weeks are terrific motivators, keep up the great work.
mikamah and PigletsPal, gaining weeks are always hard, but don't let a gain sabotage your efforts. Take this gain as a motivator to do better next week. We all are going to have weeks that we aren't as good as we should be, the important thing is to forgive yourself a bad week and start a new day tomorrow.
Yeah, what she said!
Mermaid02 - good job getting back on track!
Now, I need a swift kick in the behind! I guess the first week of maintainence (although I really want to lose more) is dangerous for me. No journaling. 2 girls' night outs, chinese, rainforest cafe, ugh! So, I'm with you guys getting back on track right now!
Kim - how does the weighing in thing work on Lifetime? I know I need to weigh in once every calendar month. But if I go to meetings each week - do I have to weigh in? My concern is when I have a crazy week like this last one, I don't want a bad weigh in recorded. If I weigh and it's over, can we just not write it down since I am not due to weigh in until Sept. now?
(did that make one ounce of sense?!)
BUT, I'll never attain Lifetime as, I've been doing it all ONLINE, no meetings. My understanding tho and, someone correct me if I'm wrong please, is that you choose the one time each month you want to weigh-in, not weekly, unless you want to. If you belong to WW (meetings) you can go everyday, anyday, to 1 or all meetings you can find!
(makes me think of AA, sorry) So yes, I believe you CAN WI and, if it's not your 'time', then just tell them you're keeping an eye on yourself.
Katy! How great that you have committed to WW again. As someone who was once at 220# and is doing WW again I applaud you for getting back to what you know works. I lost 60# with WW online beginning 4 years ago, gained some of it back and am back to WW a second time. I still have 17# to go to where I was before, but I know WW and a commitment to myself is the way to do it (and WISH is a big motivator!)

(except mine, of course
