Hi guys, just getting backonline after the Super Bowl debacle.

So I had my weigh in Sat and I was down 2.4. Pretty decent. 13.2 after 3 weeks. I had a semi rough day yesterday with the food for the game, but all is good....think long term!

I need lots of exercise between now and Saturday!

You're doing awesome!! :thumbsup2 Yesterday was hard.... The Pats poor performance drove me to drink.... good thing I had all my flex points! :lmao:

Hi, May I join you all? You seem like a great support group. I need that, or as many as I can get. I joined WW at work program last week. My 1st weigh in is Wed. I know the program and I know that it works. I made Lifetime in 2001. But, I have since gained it all back and then some. I Keep blaming it on RL and anything and everything I can think of but, it's time to quit the blaming and get back on the wagon.

Welcome!!!! I agree with the blaming thing. I have/had the same problem especially with the gym. But now I am going and not letting myself quit. So, welcome and I hope we can all help you stay motivated!!!!:dance3:

Believe me, the same thing happened to me. I bought some Beck's Premier Light which supposedly is 1 point versus a bud light which is 2 so I can drink double the amount! It really isn't that great of a beer at all, but it's ok.

Hi there - I'm new to the WISH boards, but have been a long time fan of DIS :) I joined WW back in August and do really great on the program, but my problem is that when my husband is home I "slip" way too much and have to start nearly from scratch (he's in the Navy...he's usually gone a month, home a month).

Anywho, I'm really getting motivated to stay on track since bathing-suit season is frighteningly close! I dont have the option to go to meetings where we are so I do WW online, and I realized I need my "meetings" to keep me in check for when DH is here and I go off track.

DH has been gone for about 2.5 weeks and will be home the end of next week, and in the whole time he's been gone I've almost got back down to my WW lowest weight, so I'm pretty stoked about it. Today was my WI, and I was down 3.4. I know thats a bit much, but it all balances out (plus I started working out recently).

Holy cow, that was a novel! Thanks for listening!

Well I had a really bad week last week. Went off plan just way to much and no excuse for it. Just stress I guess. So I was very happy to find that I'm down 1/2 pound. I thought for sure there was going to be a gain. Slow and steady and back on program. :)

Great job!

When he's home this time and going forward, what can you differently that might make you at least stay even during that month? Maybe you can track your points extra carefully? Maybe you can make sure you continue with your working out?

Keep up the good work!

Nice...just goes to show how those weeks where you think you did bad, make sure to still go to the meeting. In the past I have wanted to skip thinking I did bad and even if you do go up, at least you went. I know that if I skip one meeting, it's easier to skip the 2nd and 3rd and then you don't go back.

Great job.

UPDATE!!! 2/10/08

Frustrated with Flex Plan!!! :headache: I am a lifetime member now(for past 4 months), and have gained 5 pounds!!! I am extremely mad and don't know what to do. I know I probably don't write down everything that I should, but I also think I eat way too many carbs. As of today, I am going to try the Core Plan and see if it works better. Has anyone had trouble with Flex and switched to Core? I think it will get me to eat heathier, and not eat so many sweets!!! Any advice would be welcome!!!

Well, I have been trying the Core plan for the past 5 days, and I am noticing a huge difference in how I feel!! I love not having to count foods that are on the Core Plan and find I am less stressed with not having points left at the end of the day! I got on the scale this morning and have lost 3 pounds!!! I am back within 2 pounds of my goal weight and am very pleased with the core plan. I was VERY gassy the first few days on the plan, probably because of all the extra fruit and vegetables. I am not craving bread or sweets right now. We'll see how the next few weeks go, but so far am happy with my progress!

I know I probably don't write down everything that I should,

You should be proud becoming a lifetime member! That's great.

I have never done core so I can't help you there, but if you decide to stay or go back to flex, I would go back to carefully tracking your points. I know that if I don't, I easily "forget" that bag of chips or that one scoop of ice cream easily becomes 3!!

Whatever you do, stick with it!

Down 1.4 this week.... lucky for me since Superbowl Sunday was a bad day.... So I'm down 4.6 total...

I also was down 1.4. That seems to be my weekly amount. Back on the Treadmill so I hope that moves things along a bit quicker. Superbowl is over so we can back on track.

Good job to all that have lost this week!!

*sigh*
I was doing so good this week, till tonight when I blindly grabbed the big bag of Dortioes while watching the Super Tuesday returns.

*sigh*

I haven't posted much on here since I rejoined WW. It hasn't been easy, but I am doing well. The first week I had a loss, the next I was up a little. Then the last two weigh ins I have been down. I am now down a total of 10.6 pounds! I joined on 1/8/8. So in a little less than a full month I am down over 10 pounds.

And you know what?.....I still had chocolate chip cookies, pizza and chips and guacamole. Just counted my points, watched my portions, made better choices and made time to walk a few times a week.

Good luck to everyone!

I just found these boards. My mother didn't tell me we had WW on here. She is trying to keep it for herself. LOL

Hi I am Miranda. I have been on WW of 3 weeks and already lost 6.8 pounds. :) My goal is too look great in my wedding dress...and on my disneymoon. :)

Hey Ken next time you need doritos. get the 100 calorie pack there easier on the points and you can eat the whole bag. :) remember there is always tomorrow.

Congratulations to all you losers here!!  You are doing great.

To those who have gained, or maintained, don't give up. Today is a new day, and I know if you get back on program, you will see a loss soon. Hang in there. You are worth it.

I lost .4 this week, and was thrilled it wasn't a gain. I do flex and sat night had a party where I went completely crazy on desserts. I did write it all down when I got home, and I used my daily 27 points, plus 56 extras. (I had already used my 35 fps). I have been consistently exercising every morning, and that definitely helps me, as does writing every thing down, no matter how bad I have been.

Have a great week everyone!!

I am up a pound this week. I think that my mental state of going to WDW in four days has started to creep in. :-) I maintain my Weight Watchers all year and completely go off it for one week a year. No not Christmas week, No not New Years, no not my birthday... it is the week I am in the World.

I have been told that Disney Food has no points anyway *wink* (kidding)

Morning all!
today is my first weight in so I'm excited but nervous. LOL
I haven't been perfect but, OH so much eating better than I was. One of my real "red lights" is coke, regular coke. I had gotten way out of control drinking too much of the stuff. So, this week was concentrating on More water Less coke.
Harvest02 - Congrats on making Lifetime. Do you think you may have kinda lost stride once you made Lifetime? I did, way back when. and there was only the points plan no core plan. So, maybe you need to go back to strict journaling, concentrate on your water intake, and plan your meals better? Good luck to ya'.
Ok, I'll be back later with my results.
