It definitely can be....it certainly has been for me. That is probably why you see me posting so much, it helps me stay on track. There are great people here who are always willing to lend support and a lot of times you can pick up a tip or two. :)
 
I just had to share. I went to my WW weigh in yesterday and lost 3 lbs. I've been having such a struggle and that's the most I've lost in a week since on WW. (the first week was only 2.2) It may be silly, but I spent the first 10 minutes or so of the meeting trying not to cry.

I'm actually starting to feel like I can do this! I have 17.2 more lbs to go - I'm hoping to be pretty close to goal by our December trip. (I started 9 weeks ago with 25.8 lbs to lose)
 

jenm2878- Congratulations to you. That's a great loss, and a wonderful boost for you. I have found myself very emotional at times during meetings when I've hit a milestone, or when others are celebrating. I can imagine what a mess I'll be when I eventually reach goal. :rotfl: Keep up the awesome work and you will reach your goal by December!!!:cheer2:

I didn't do any journalling yesterday, and ate away the day at work, but this is a new day, and I'm planning to get right back on. I won't weighin til friday so i have a few days to redeem myself.:)

It's so nice to read what everyone is doing. Last week was such as struggle for me...I worked so very hard to hit 50lb milestone and the worst was my scale at home had me really thinking I'd lost plenty to make it. When I weighed in I lost 1.2 rather than the 4.5 that I thought.

That was a super rough day for me...I had to go back to work and couldn't stay for the meeting. The worst is our leader left (she was such a strong and wonderful person) and now I feel really lost without her...I've not been able to make a good connection with the new leader and am thinking I might have to "shop around" for meetings. :confused3

My loss right now is 48 and leaves me 27 to go before my wedding - I have to be super hard core!!!!! Any good advice??

I'm new to the thread but not WW. Today I weighed in for my 22nd meeting and lost 2.8 lbs for a total of 38.2, eep!!!

Ok, went to my first weigh in on friday since starting back to WW. I am done 4.1 pounds! I am so glad to be back on board and having a good loss the first week reminds me its worth it. I didn't think I would have that much of a loss since I didn't track when I went to a party last weekend or because I had a binge or two after getting home from work last week. But getting on the treadmill every day is helping me out a lot. Im psyched up to keep it up though. Can't wait till next weigh in! Never thought I would say that.
 
jenm2878, three pounds in one week is FANTASTIC!!!! The whole journey we are on is so emotional and there are so many little things that just get us, you are definitely not alone in that aspect. So glad you are finally feeling that you can do this because you really can and you really are! Keep up the great work.

Hi Mik, you are always so kind. I think you and I are having similar days, I am having a hard time writing it down and I have just been hungry and snacking way too much. But you are right, tomorrow is a new day!!

M-C-K-Y-M-S, congrats on your loss to date, that is great. And congrats on your upcoming wedding.....when are you getting married? I know it is tough trying to find a good leader, been there, and all I can say is if you aren't liking your new leader definitely shop around because a good leader makes a HUGE difference with your success. You are on this journey and you have come so far so you really need someone who you are comfortable with to help you continue on this journey, you deserve it.

At last Thursday's WI I had lost 1.8 lbs. I'm down a total of 17.4 so far.

So far this week, I'm not doing so well though. I'm really going to have to step it up to keep on track this week!

Great weigh in! Good luck keeping it on track, seems like there are a few of us struggling this week!
 
I was on track yesterday and so far today, bumped up the exercise too, but in an hour I am off to the mountains until Sunday so I hope I can keep the momentum going. (Hard to do when you are eating out so much, but I will certainly try!)

Hey Tiggerlover, we are definitely having a similar week. I have been on track the last 2 days after a couple of days of binging. I also got out for a good bike ride yesterday which always helps. Have a great trip to the mountains. I'm going camping for the weekend, but am planning to bring lots of healthy foods, and will have only one smore each night.

disneymac- Congrats on your loss. We all have our ups and downs, but if we can get right back on track after a bad spell, we can halt the damage, and even see a loss. Good luck.

Stacerita-Congratulations on that awesome loss. It's great to see that the program does work if we stick to it. Great motivation and attitude you have!!

M-C-K-Y-M-S- Sorry you were dissapointed at weighin. It's frustrating to be close to a milestone, and then not make it. I played just over 200 pounds for the longest time, and finally broke it. Hang in there, and your persistance will pay off. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. and your 48 pounds gone!!! That's great.

Congrats to everyone who is losing! Sounds like some of us are struggling this week! Maybe some of us who have kids are getting stressed out about them going back to school!:laughing: Anyway, went to WI tonight and was the same weight as last week, which is fine since I am on maintenance now. Only 3 more weeks to go until lifetime!!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I missed my goal by .2 !!! .2 !:eek:

hi everyone! after a couple of months of not losing weight on weight watchers, i decided to can my online subscription. i couldn't get the hang of the "flex points" thing and i felt guilty eating those points for some reason.

last week i started the old weight watchers from when my mom went. she's got all the books and the slider thing. the old weight watchers worked once for me before and i lost over 25 lbs on it so it definitely works for me. i weighed myself last wed at 160 lbs and today i was 154.5! i need to start exercising more, so it's going to be daily walks for me. :cool1:

just thought i'd say hi again! and good luck to everyone!
 
Another pound lost! Weighed in today at 174.8 for 40.2 total lbs lost!!! I got a new clippie!!!:banana:

I started april 25th and was 165 -- today I am 145!!! :banana: :banana: :cheer2: I have about 10 or 15 to go still. I went from a size 14 or 12 to a size 8 being too big.

WI last night - I was up .4. Not a big deal really. I had a rough weekend, but got back on track by about Tuesday! (Long weekend :goodvibes ) Also TOM for me, so ...

We've got a birthday party on Saturday and going away to Santa's Village and Six Gun City in NH. We'll see how I do with that! But at least there will be lots of walking!

I'm going to really try to stick to the plan, I've only got 2.5 lbs to go to reach my first 10% goal and I'm dying to get there! I'd really love to do it this week.

As much as I'm not looking forward to the kids going back to school, I think it will be much easier for me to lose weight then. There is so much less messing with my schedule then!
