I weighed in this morning at 181.0, a loss of 1.8 for the week and for a total loss of 33.8 lbs!!! Only 67.2 lbs to go!!!

Keep up the good work everyone!!

Hi all you WW people. My DH and I started WW 3 months ago and so far so good. Well more good for him. He's lost 34 lbs. I've lost 7.
Granted there is the thyroid issue and my dad having quad bypass in May. :confused3
But we are back on track and staying that way. We just booked a trip to WDW for Sept free dining. :cool1:
Goals are set for the trip and away we go!:goodvibes

Yay! I lost another 1 1/2 lbs this week. That is 14.5 total in 2 months (but with 2 weeks off the diet in the middle) I am working hard to stay on weight watchers, though once in a while I have those slip ups which I am trying to avoid. I think I am getting better with it though bc I find when I have a slip up I feel guilty over what is I ate so it really takes away from enjoying it. The pizza I had a week ago isn't quite as appealing to me this week bc I know how it made me feel afterwards. It's ok to have a slice with my bonus points but having 3 is too much. The hardest part is the working out though! I am sooooo out of shape and have such a lack of energy. And to make matters worse I have to take a medication that makes me sleepy so its hard to get up and get going in the morning and sometimes even in the evening. I am trying to get down the right schedule so I feel energized for work and right after to go for a walk and cook dinner. I hope I can make my goal weight by my wedding! I think the working out will be easier as I lose the weight and have more energy. I try to keep focusing on the time that I was thinner and had alot of energy. I want to feel that way again so I keep pushing myself.

But enough about me, I wanted to say that all you folks that have lost 0lbs or 100 lbs are so inspiring. The fact that you stick with it is awesome and definitely gives me motivation to hear other folks having the same goals, struggles, and accomplishments :woohoo: And congrats to those hitting their goals, I think that is awesome!

Better week this week- I lost the couple of pounds that I had gained last week. I've been doing much better keeping track of my points and have bumped up my exercise, so hopefully this week will be a loss!

 Hello fellow WWers!! I have been MIA for most of the week as my computer at home has been down (new carpeting so we had to take everything out), I finally begged DH to at least get me hooked up to the Internet and he finally did. :)

miss missy, attitude is a big part of our success and you sound like you are a success in the making!

:welcome: VernRDH and goofyisinphilly! Congrats on your losses so far, glad to have you both contributing here on WISH.

So M 'n C, how was your first meeting? If you are looking for some good recipes I recommend the Comfort Foods recipe book they sell at the meetings. I think it is $9.99 and it has some really great recipes in it, even my picky DH and DS have loved the things I have made from there.

Andrea_loves_Disney, congrats on making your 10% goal. I felt so great getting my keychain and it is even more fun earning the charms to put on it. :cool1:

LeesyUD, another great loss, keep up the great work! I think we all can relate to having slip ups, lord knows I have had my fair share. I know what you mean about the guilt, I have that too and the food just doesn't have the same appeal as it once did, so I guess that is progress.

KJo719, glad to hear that you had a better week. Keep up the good work.

Now for my update, since I made lifetime I only have to weigh once a month, which I did last night. I am down .2 for the month, not bad considering.

Hope everyone has a good week ahead. Onward and downward we go!

Well this week didn't go so well. At my WW meeting I weighed exactly the same as last week. The moral of the story...I can't use the discretionary points. I've got to play it straight.

That's ok though. I've still got 7 weeks until WDW. I CAN loose 10 more lbs.:cheer2:

Hello fellow WWers! I did so well last week but this week was not so good! I gained .6! :sad2: I know that's not a big deal but I just hate it when the scale moves in the wrong direction!!!! I know I didn't walk enough last week and that combined with the fact that I was out of town and eating some things I shouldn't be...well, I know you all know how it is!! Anyway, I am determined....and I will keep trying!!! :goodvibes Have a great week everyone!

I did my first weigh in today at WW. I've lost .6 pounds from last week. Would have been nice to see a 6 and not a .6 but a loss is a loss.

:sad2: Only down 0.4 for the week, but its down and not up at least!!! I did run three miles this am before I went to weigh in. Hoping for better results next week.

i dont weighin every week- just bc of the simple fact that i dont own a scale (i actually think that helps!!;) )so i guess id say its every two weeks or two 1/2 when i get done at the gym, if the locker room is still open

....no, i dont only go to the gym once every two weeks haha i just usually forget the scales there and the locker room is usually closed when i do remember :)

anywhoo- down 2 lbs from my last weigh in for a grand total of 7lbs!! (in one month) wooohoo!! but i still got far way to my goal.

Boy, do I know how you feel! I went to WI tonight all excited because when I weighed myself this morning, it said I was down over 1 pound(and that would have put me at goal). Well, went to WI tonight and gained .4 from last week! Go figure!!! We were on vacation for 4 days this past weekend, but we did not eat that bad. I ate lots of salad, and we did lots of walking because we were at an amusement park. For the past 3 weeks, I have been within 1 pound of goal, but just can't get down to that point! It is EXTREMELY frustrating! I am wondering if my body is telling me that it is happy with where I am. Has anyone else ever had this much trouble getting down that last pound? I was so frustrated after WI that I didn't even stay after for the meeting:headache: ! I know my fellow DIS'ers will have some good advice and encouragement for me!!!

Finally a good week- I lost 2 pounds! I was at the same weight for a little over a month and was starting to get extremely frustrated. I finally got to change my clippie- I was stuck on that 30 pound clippie for what seemes like forever! I really increased my exercise these past couple of weeks and have been very careful with keeping track of my points.
Harvest02- don't give up- you can do it. You've come this far and only have 1 pound to go- you'll get there!
Keep up the good work everyone!

Hey Everyone.....I am new to this thread and new to WW. We went to the beach and I was just really embarrassed by how I looked in my swimsuit! I am almost what I weighed when I birthed my second child. I have had many failed attempts over the past months at losing the pounds. I think since I have hit my 30's it just isn't as easy as it used to be.

So, as I drive home I joined ww online. I know every1 has more success with the meetings, but I hope this will work for me.

I am really praying I can stay on this and do well! I am just so DONE with this weight climbing and climbing.

I might be scared for my first weigh in when I get home. :)

I can't explore the website from my connection from my phone. I hope it is a good tool. I am planning on using thepoints system.

Does it have a menu planner with a printable shopping list for recipes?

Okay......I can't wait!!

Gosh, it seems like such a long time since I posted on this thread. I miss hanging out here. In reading back I see you all are doing pretty good, a couple of bumps in the road, but things are progressing. I also notice some of our regulars are missing, hoping they are just busy like I have been.

goofyisinphilly, attitude is a huge part of being successful and although you didn't see the scale move this week you have a winning attitude. Here's hoping your week is going better this week.

Andrea_loves_Disney, I know exactly how you feel, gains hurt our psychy (sp???), but you are right, it is only .6 and that could be water weight. I am sure you are having a better week this week as you know what you were lacking last week and I know I always seem to have a better week after a little gain.

M 'n C and VernRDH, I always say a loss is a loss and it is so better than a gain. Celebrate your losses and make a couple of changes and your next weigh in should be more of what you are looking for.

DisneyPrncess, congrats on your loss, that is great.

Harvest02, {{{{HUGS}}}} I DEFINITELY know what you are experiencing. I went through about three months while I was tettering at goal and it was soooo frustrating. Hang in there, you CAN and you WILL do this, sometimes it just takes our bodies longer to know we are right and we can lose the little extra. It is harder the closer you are to your ideal weight, just hang in there.:grouphug:

KJo719, congrats on your loss and your new clippie is MAHVELOUS dahling!

Gymbomom, :welcome: It is true that the older you get the harder it is to lose, however, it can be done. I started on my journey when I was 36 and I definitely saw that it took me longer to lose. I gained a little back and started again when I was 39 and it was even harder to lose. Now that it is gone I don't want to go back, but what I am trying to say is it can be done. I did WW online the first time and lost 65 pounds. Surround yourself with people who support your efforts, visit WISH often, move more, eat better and you too can do this.

Have a great WW week everyone!!! Onward and downward!!!:cheer2:

Hi
About 5-6 years ago I joined WW and lost 65 pounds. Well I've gained most of it back.:sad2:
When I had lost that weight I was faithfully visiting the Wish board and found it most helpful. So here I am back again.
I joined WW on Friday July 13 and on Friday July 20 I had my first WI and lost 2.4. I'm feeling good about getting back into it. I even got out this morning and walked the track at our local high school.
Good luck to everyone!:cheer2:

:welcome: back! So glad you have joined us once again. I lost and gained and lost again and have realized how important WISH is to my success. Congrats on your 2.4# loss at your first weigh in.....you are on your way!!

I just wanted to share another great quote I saw the other day....

At 212 degrees water is hot.
At 213 degrees water boils.
With boiling water you get steam.
Steam can power a locomotive.

It is the extra degree that makes a difference.

It's your life.
You are responsible for the results you get.

It is time to turn up the heat!

Well, went to WI last night. I usually go on Thursdays, but Aunt Flo will be visiting later in the week, so thought I would go on Monday instead. Am I glad I did! I reached Goal last night!!!! I was SO GLAD!!!!!!:) :) :) I had been stuck at the same weight(within 1 pound of goal) for the past 3-4 weeks. I was EXTREMELY frustrated, as you all know. I even was 1 pound UNDER goal, so lost 2 pounds this week. I have been walking more, and also doing Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds. Must have done the trick!!! Had a dinner date with some of my friends last night, so had some french fries. I know that is bad, but I did good with the rest of the meal. Had 1/2 grilled fish sandwich and a house salad(they took off the croutons and bacon for me). Also had one beer, but that was it. Back on plan today, but now I get to add 4 points per day. We'll have to see how that goes. A little nervous about that because I don't want to gain my weight back!!!

Tiggerlover , great quote!! I like that one!!!

Hope everyone has a good week!!!! Keep smiling!!:wizard:

Greetings to all!

Harvest02 -CONGRATS!!! That is so awesome. I hope I will be reporting the same thing for myself within a few months... it is going slower than I had hoped but I am trying to hang in there!!! :scared:

Tiggerlover - thanks for the encouraging words...you are always to kind to reply to so many WISHers!!! :goodvibes

I go to WI tomorrow and I am afraid it will not be a loss again...but that will be okay! I have to live my life and that sometimes involves eating some treats!! I am trying not to beat myself up over it!! Anyway, hope everyone is having a great week!!
