WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

LPNmom...you'll get to your goal! 5lbs is so close...start writing eveyrthing down from now until you go on vacation and I'm sure those 5 lbs will just disappear. Summer time is soooo hard.

So far this week I'm doing well. I did go over my points by a bit yesterday but that's okay since I used a chunk on my weekly points. When I follow the plan, I allow myself one really high point day, then I use the rest of the weekly points throughout the week. My daily points are 21 which I find can be a challenge to just stick to those everyday.

I'm off to the grocery to get some good food in the house. My leader this week shared a treat idea with us this week....microwave a chocolate chocolate chip Vitamuffin, then take a WW Chocolate or Latte bar off the stick; Top the warm Vitamuffin with the WW ice cream. 2 points! Haven't tried Vitamuffins yet, but I plan on looking for them tonight and trying this out this weekend. Will report back! :thumbsup2

Vita muffins are so good. I can only get them at one store and I guess that is good as if they were close by and i could get them all the time it would be a red light food. This way when I buy 2 boxes i know i have to make the 8 of them last for awhile as I won't be back to that store for awhile.

I have had close to 3 weeks of challenges--one week included Disney Free Dinning. I am weighing in tomorrow and it will be interesting to see how I did.

I weighed in on Wednesday. I was down 3.8 pounds. I have lost 30 pounds since May 20th.

We leave next Thursday for 6 days at Disney... free dining. I would love to hear how some of you have done while there. I intend to be smart but don't want to deprive myself of all things tasty.

congrats on your loss :thumbsup2 We've done free dining a few times now. I try to be smart, but I also enjoy the good things Disney has to offer. We walk so much there, it almost balances out. I bring food with me from home, or stop at the store there to pick up food. Yogurt, cereal, fruit etc for breakfast, Fiber One bars, trail mix, 100 cal packs etc. There is fresh fruit almost everywhere too. Oh yeah....it's so darn hot there this time of year, I tend to drink a ton of water so that helps too.

I just bought a pedometer so I am going to wear it in Disney to see how many miles we walk...I think it will be interesting to see!

Just had my first weigh in and am down 2.4 lbs. I am happy with it.

I need to get my activity points up and figure out how many flex points I should use per week. I used quite a few over this holiday weekend, but not all and still lost. I suppose it will be trial and error and every week will be a bit different.
 
hi everyone! Weighed in today and lost 2.4 lbs :woohoo:. I was pretty good most of the week ~ I tracked each day. I even went to the Red Sox game last night and stayed on program...yay me!

I was good all day, eating the right foods, drinking water. we had to leave before dinner to drop the kids off and get on the T to head in to Boston so I could not eat dinner at home. When we got to Boston, we decided to eat at Quiznos since I knew there would be nothing inside Fenway that would be a good choice for me. DH got a Fenway frank, of course and I did taste one tiny little bite of it, but I was so proud that I didn't cave in to all the good, bad for you food, haha!

My short term goal is to get back to my comfort zone before we leave for Disney in 2 weeks. At this point, I have to lose about 6 - 7 lbs to get there. I don't think it will happen in 2 weeks, but I'm going to try to lose as much as I can and really stick to the program.

everyone is different, but I find that if I use most of my activity points, I see better results on the scale. I try to vary how many weekly points I use each day. I allow myself one really high day (like 15 weekly points in addition to my 21 daily points) I always follow the high point day by a very low point day (just the daily points, no weekly points.) the rest of the days I vary it by using a few points here and there. I think it helps mix things up so your body doesn't get used to the same amount of points each day. I don't use activity points. It will be trial and error to see what works for you.

I weighed in this morning and lost another 1.6 pounds. I'm down 31.6. We leave for Disney & free dining in the morning, wish me luck!!!
 
hi again all! i had a super busy summer and last semester and didn't get to stick with ww all that much. now that summer is over, no more vacations (except for one coming up this weekend), and school is back in order, i'm starting on ww again.

i finally got all the old books and that fantastic sliding scale from my mom that i used back in 2004 to lose 20+ lbs!

yesterday was my first day back and i kept within my point range! :cool1: i actually wasn't all that hungry feeling either, which was good.

i've been trying to find some healthy lunch recipes that i can bring to work with me. i get so sick of eating ham sandwiches, which i think makes me veer off track. i bought some hellman's olive oil mayo and pickle relish yesterday and made myself a tuna sandwich for lunch and it was pretty good!

Job, looks like our goals are the same...30lbs before vacation. I leave in a little over 2 weeks, still need to lose 1.9lbs to be under 190! Hope you have a great vacation, and feel amazing being 30lbs lighter!

I had my weigh in yesterday and was down 2.2 lbs! :goodvibes That's very good for me, I am happy if it is one pound a week! I am getting close to having a BMI of 25, which would be a healthy weight. It will feel so great to know that I am not overweight anymore!! I am still planning on losing a few more pounds, for the looks and also as a kind of safety cushion. But I really hope that I will be able to maintain my weight once I got to my goal! :thumbsup2

unfortunately, i was bad today and went out for dinner with friends and had a little too much to eat. oh well! tomorrow is another day!

You are right, a loss is a loss and that's all that matters! I am not a fast loser at all, but when I look back a few months it all adds up to quite a large amount!! :goodvibes

Congratulations on your loss!! I am doing WW for 7 months now and I realized the most important thing is to just get into the program again as soon as possible after a day or a weekend where it just did not work out as it should. Also I found it very helpful to sit down and track my food even on those days when I ate way too much! :goodvibes

I can report that I lost 1.3 lbs last week and that means that I now lost officially 10 kg (I am in Germany, so we use the metric system, that's 22 lbs). I am really proud of myself and actually am amazed how much I have changed! I am only 5 lbs away from a BMI of 25 which would mean that I am no longer overweight... I hope to get there by the beginning of November. It would be such a great birthday present to myself to have a healthy weight!! :thumbsup2
 
I lost .8 this week. Not as much as I had hoped when I began last week, but I had 3 lousy days before I got a hold of myself and got back on program, so I am grateful it's not a gain!

I have one more weigh in before we leave for Disney so I am determined to have a good week on program. I know I'll be eating much more than I'm used to while we are away so I am a little nervous about that. I've got my Fiber One bars to bring with me and some snack sized trail mixes also, so I am hopeful that I can stay focused as much as possible!

another good loss! A bad day doesn't have to mean it turns into a bad week...just get right back on program the next day (I know...easier said than done, huh?)

that's so awesome! Congratulations on reaching 10 kg lost! You have every right to be so proud of yourself. For me, when I allow myself to be proud of my accomplishments (even if it's getting through one day or even one meal on program) it motivates me to do it again and again.
 
WI this morning..........Lost 2.4lbs:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:!!! I made my goal of being under 190lbs before my vacation to WDW Next Thursday! And if I lose next week I could win my families Biggest Loser Contest, right now my brother-in-law is winning by 1%...but I know I can do it!
