WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

New to this board and love this thread!!:thumbsup2

I wanted to share my WW experience. I reached lifetime this week!! I started WW this summer and it really works if you stick with it. The keys for me are exercise and drinking the water. I have more I would like to lose to meet my personal goal. I joined BL 6 to help me achieve that goal. I am also going to continue weighing in weekly with WW. I am psyched to not have to pay!!:cool1: :cool1:

Good Luck to all of the WW dieters!! Here's to a losing week!!

OK I had a non scale victory today that showed me that I really have lost inches.

My bras were terrible, I knew I needed new ones and I wanted to treat myself and get good ones. I also had no idea what size I am. So for the 1st time in my life, I went to Saks 5th Avenue and was measured. I know I was wearing a 42 that was TIGHT when I started the program. She measured me and I"m a 38!!! Anyway, I bought two as I figured they would get me through the next 40 lbs weight loss and then I'd invest in a couple more.

I could not believe when she said I was 38. She also suggested I stop in the slacks department and get a pair that actually fit me LOL

The same thing just happened to me. I noticed "puckers" in the cups where there should have been something filling in, but there was not. Just bought 2 new ones and went down a cup size. I also went shopping to see what pants size I was in, and I'm down to sz 14 from a sz 18. When I put the 14's on, I was amazed at how they looked, and then realized that the pants that I have been wearing are actually way TOO big. It didn't seem like it, though. I LOVE it when that happens! :lovestruc

Boy have I missed a lot in the last two weeks! I am still dealing with some medical issues and I haven't much felt like being on the computer, but I miss "visiting" with everyone. I had my monthly weigh in on the 12th and I was down a pound this month, however, I think that pound has found its way back, but that is okay, I am still under goal (and hope to stay there).

Mary Ann, WOW, what a lot of exercise you have gotten moving your office! It all paid off with your weight loss, looks like 5.2 pounds in two weeks, congrats. Disney is just around the corner for you, I am sure you are very excited. I don't know about the bars, I have never seen them before so I would hate to even guess.

Congrats on your losses knovak, gottalovethem, natenapril, LuvGoing2Disney7, Pei4ever, Nancyg56 and cepmom, keep up the great work!

Welcome back NCRedding, good to have you around.

Nancyg56, 6.2 to goal, Wow, you are almost there!

Mik, I hear you on the snacking during Biggest Loser, it was like I was drawn to the kitchen to eat while watching all these folks work out so hard.

leanne2255, my experience is that you need to eat your 35 in order to lose. You need to fuel your body so that is can burn the fuel. Before I made lifetime and was in losing mode I always ate my 35, because when I didn't the scale wasn't as kind.

barbmouse, :welcome: and CONGRATULATIONS on making lifetime!!!

Hope I didn't miss anyone. Onward and downward we go!

leanne & Mary Ann - love the smaller bra and need for new pants!

Barbmouse - Congratulations on making goal. Wow, that's great!

Mikamah - congrats on the loss and keeping it going!

Tiggerlover - wow on wanting to get below goal, just stay healthy!

I need to get back on track. I made very poor food choices last week. Somehow I only gained 2 oz. but now I need to get back at it and stick with it! Three more pounds and I'll have "lost" my toddler :)

Me too! I maintained. Really not on program so I will kick it up this week.

LOVED the bra stories! Great inspiration for a Monday morning!

Congrats to all the losers!!

Thanks so much for the welcomes and congratulations!

Hope everyone is a BIG LOSER :lovestruc this week!:lmao:

Congratulations on making Lifetime! :thumbsup2 I am always so impressed by those that can stick with it to their goal. I'm working towards that this time, once and for all. 4th time at WW and I'm determined to see it through till the end.

Thanks!!! You can do it!!

This board and your WW group are all behind you!! One lb at a time!!

Oh and Leanne I just noticed that we are on the same team!! ;)

Thanks, I am working on it!

I need to get right back on track with you, the poor food choices have been hanging on to me a little too much lately.

I'm working towards that this time, once and for all. 4th time at WW and I'm determined to see it through till the end.

I am a three-peater at WW's, made my goal the second time, thought I could do it on my own and ended up gaining 25# pounds back. I joined WW's the last time, lost the weight again, made lifetime and I am determined not to go back. Sometimes I think it is harder staying at lifetime than it was getting there. It takes determination and the will to succeed.....you can do this!!

Congratulations on everyones weight loss!! I weighed in last night and managed to have lost 2 pounds. I am very happy about that because my baby turned one on Sunday and let's just say I slightly overindulged in cake and punch. I even went to the trouble to make ww friendly cupcakes for those of us watching what we eat but did I eat those----nope, I had the real thing:rolleyes1 Hope we all have a "losing" week this week:dance3:

Congrats on the loss!!!

Tiggerlover, We have a few lifetimers at our meeting and they are so encouraging. Keep up the good work!:thumbsup2

I have a lady at my meeting that has lost 148 lbs. She's made lifetime. Such a role mode to me.

Wow! You guys are so encouraging! I just got back from an Alaska cruise...I ate, but I didn't go nuts. One day I had some kind of cream puffs and they made me queasy...so that kept me on course.

Weigh in after 2 weeks away from WW and l lost another 2.8 lbs!! 5.4 total, and only 60 more or so to go!

Maryanne, we better meet for lunch soon, or I will not recognize you! Way to go!!

You are all doing so well, and I am glad to be a part of it! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Congrats on your loss and kudos to you for making a WW friendly cupcake, that is terrific. We know we want treats and it is so nice to have an option that is better for you.

It takes people at all levels in these WW meetings to keep us all going. I know I get inspiration from people starting out, people that are in the middle and people who are lifetime, we are all on a common journey, we are just at different places along the way. Thanks for the encouragement.

Whoo hoo!! :cheer2: Congratulations on making Lifetime! That must be such a wonderful feeling. Welcome to our little thread.

Sorry you had a little gain, but you can get right back on and lose it. How exciting to lose your toddlers weight. When you pick up those toddlers and hold them for any length of time, they are so heavy after a bit, and we carried all that extra weight around for so long. When I first joined ww 3 years ago, my son was about 50 pounds, and I wanted to reach that weight, but my journey has been long and slow, and now he's 70 pounds, and I don't think I'll get there, but 65 total would be nice. Keep up the great work.

You will see it through this time, and I'm right there with you. I think this is my 4th or 5th time doing ww, and I will not quit again.

I can imagine it is harder to maintain longterm than to lose. When I went through about a year of not losing anymore, I thought wow, maybe this is what maintainance would be like, but still having 40 pounds to lose, it's a lot easier to maintain than being at goal. You should be so proud Deb. Hope all is well and you are feeling better now.

Congrats on your loss. That is the great thing about ww, you can have an occasional splurge, and still stick to the program. Congrats on your one year old. That is such a fun age, starting to walk and talk. Babies are so cute.

Wow! You guys are so encouraging! I just got back from an Alaska cruise...I ate, but I didn't go nuts. One day I had some kind of cream puffs and they made me queasy...so that kept me on course.

Awesome loss, and after a cruise and all!! You should be so proud.

The same thing just happened to me. I noticed "puckers" in the cups where there should have been something filling in, but there was not. Just bought 2 new ones and went down a cup size. I also went shopping to see what pants size I was in, and I'm down to sz 14 from a sz 18. I LOVE it when that happens! :lovestruc
Congrats on your new size! That is such a good feeling. I had got into a snug 14 in the spring, but after a big summer gain, am back in the 16s, and working back toward a 14 again.

I have not been eating very well, but for the past 5 days, have been journalling everything even though it's been over my points. I weighed in today and was down .4. I have been exercising every morning this week, and that definitely saved me. I am back to flex. With school restarting, and my son playing soccer, open houses at school and ccd, etc, I was having a hard time planning and preparing my core foods, so I went back to flex 5 days ago, and am going to stick with it but try and eat the healthier core foods as much as possible. I am committing to journalling every single bite I take and to doing a watp tape at least 5 days/ week. I fell out of the exercise routine over the summer, and want to get back into it.

Keep on trucking everyone!! We can do it!!:cheer2:

Kathy, I am a firm believer in the journaling! While I too do flex, I try and pick from the core foods and keep those 100 point snacks at bay.

Jo, that's fantastic. See you can do it!

Tomorrow is weigh in day. May the scale be good.

Good luck for a good weigh in week for all!

I ate too much today and even though it was all good stuff, I need to watch that..and to be more diligent at recording what I ate on paper, and NOT in my head...

OK, I am going to ask the question here that I have not asked at the meetings.

What does one have to do to become lifetime member?:confused3
