Is this a genetic disease? (I'm guessing that it is, because both your sister and your mom have it) I'm just wondering.

Yes, it is genetic.

I agree iwth what you said about people not being able to see past a disablility. I think it typically(not always) takes a person who's HAD a severe disease or disablilty to be able to totally look past physical impairments to see the person.

I've noticed also people who have someone who is close to them that is disabled are more likely to be able to look past the disability. Although, like you said, it's not always the case. I esp. appreciate the people who, w/o the familiarity w/ a disability, have looked past my impairments to me.
I think the more educated the public is, and the more disabled people are able to be out and about, the better it will be. B/c then it won't be so different and foreign to people.

3. I have a bad habit of talking to the posters I have on my walls. It developed when, as a kid, I would get mad at my parents and go complain about it to anything in sight (out of their hearing, of course! )

4. I'm a fantasy freak. The majority of my favorite movies are fantasy, my favorite books are fantasy...

2. I was in debt to my mom up to $1000 at one point...and paid her ALL back over 2.5 years

3. I get straight A's...and have since Kindergarten

4. I love listening to depressing music

5. Yellowcard is my favorite band

6. I love to stay up really late and sleep all morning

7. I think about food pretty much 24/7 and love to eat, but only weigh 108 (granted I'm only 5'3")

8. I aspire to be a model as a career...and as you can tell..I'm kinda obsessed...but I'm too short...and that really REALLY makes me sad

University next year. I really wanted to go to Villanova...stupid waitlist...
