I can understand that. To me, that is what FB is for - to be able to keep in touch with family and friends, share pictures, etc. I don't see anything wrong in what you're doing, and if anyone does it's their problem, not yours.
I love seeing pictures that my friends and family post.
I do have an "acquaintance" (we used to work together several years ago) that I pretty much bypass her posts/pictures mainly because we're not close friends and she does post a lot of her daily thoughts (that I don't care about) and photos. But I would certainly never tell her she shouldn't be posting them. Her FB page, her right to post whatever she wants.
