You know it doesn't really matter to me in the long run who actually wrote the poem we are talking about It was a beautiful poem and touched me deeply on the anniversary I don't care for liars and don't tolerate it in my life BUT I much rather deal with a liar than someone that was as vile as the person who was absolutely disgusting to me and so heated in passion about proving me wrong The language was uncalled for and disgusting as I said In hindsight I should have forwarded to the moderators instead of just deleting it but I took the high road Your " Wow" reaction and this thread brought it back.

As to what this thread was originally about, I have hidden a couple Facebook friends because I just didn't care about what they posted all the time, but I didn't want to unfriend them (especially since one is family ). Occasionally I check out their Facebook pages to see what's new, but it's nice not to see their crap on my newsfeed all the time.

A couple years ago, a friend who I hadn't talked to in years and I started talking again(there was no ill will we just had lost touch). We end up having a reunion she came back to our home state and our other friend came as well. I had gone with the other friend who is a male to our old stomping grounds and posted pics.

I didn't know until later that our female friend's daddy like husband knew her password and he actually went to my page because I wasn't in my friends news feed. He got mad that the male friend was here.

Then according to her( I would later see that she had issues) he wanted her to delete me, so being the witch that I can be, I gave him a post that I knew he would read, I didn't say any names, but he knew it was about him. She wanted me to take it down, sorry I don't have a husband that thinks he is my daddy.

We stopped being friends because I found out she was lying about dumb stuff and it was just sad.

I'd probably ramp UP my vacation posts if I were them. Or, make a giant collage of all my vacation photos in the shape of a middle finger.

I sometimes worry that I'm going to annoy my FB friends because 90% of what I post is photos from vacations or kids' activities/shows/accomplishments. I'm not bragging, honestly, but the main reason I bother with FB at all is because I have family scattered all over the country that used to nag me all the time about sending pics and updates on the kids more often. FB is much easier (and cheaper!) than snail-mailing prints.

It is, but FB is easier. No one has ever complained about it to me but my feeling is if someone doesn't like it they can unfriend or block me. Or just scroll on past... it isn't as though I'm posting multiple times a day or even every day.

I don't see anything wrong with it.

I myself love to see vacation pictures, the more, the better.

What's OK to post on Facebook, I mean, that it won't be seen as a brag?
