Im going to a jewerly party tomorrow and hoping to net $500. I weighed everything and per the current value- so .04kg= 1.60753 troy oz. the current value is $934 per troy oz. So Im looking at around $1400 is that correct? Im going to see what the offer me and if its not near what I want I will try US Gold buyers. My friend is having the party said she received a check for $2900 and its a cop/rn coming to the house. Im keeping my fingers crossed. all mine is 14k with a few stones.
You are not going to get current $/oz from any rebuyer (they have to make a profit as well.) Selling at one of those parties typically is not a good idea as they pay out less than to begin with plus they give a certain portion to the party host. So your pay out will be less (often significantly less.) Honestly, if you have that amount I would just sell it to US Goldbuyers. You can call them and give them your weight and they will give you a quote. I would at least do that before you go to the party.

dh figured it out for me and his quote was right. Mine is 14k gold not 24k gold so dh came up with $817. He said I wouldnt get more than that at the party, so I called fedex and within 30' they were at my door and took it away. I will keep you all updated. I have never done anything like this before.. It will go towards dd's braces and registration for football & cheerleading. For items laying in my drawer for years no less..
thanks again. Im so glad I saw this post this am or I would of taken the pieces to the party tomorrow
