Nope. I enjoy them, but I wouldn't pay more for them. I also never expect them, but am pleasantly surprised when we get them.

I think they're a fun little surprise when they happen, but I wouldn't pay extra for them. Except for our DCL cruise, we've never had them every night of a Disney stay, so we don't expect them.

I cringe when I have to pay $20 on something for my REAL animal. Just when I think the Dis can't get any weirder...

But seriously... there are starving children in this country. I would rather give a shelter or food bank the $20 than look at a cute folded towel.

Leaving a nice tip for the maids the first morning MAY increase your chances of getting a towel animal. I know on cruises every time we leave a small tip on a towel animal, the next day we get an even bigger and better towel animal.
