As popular as the movies of Pirates of the Caribbean and the new life to the ride it would be nice to see a themed restaurant.

It would also help since there is no dining restaurant in adventure land. There is also the area just over the bridge that is just setting there empty. This would also give the MK another themed dining experience plus this could give something for little boys. The girls have all the princesses and the boys have the characters that can be enjoyed by both. Lets make them feel special.

I know I sound like a dad with boys but I have 2 DDs. However the boy in me would like something for me or all the other boys or men having to do the princess thing and nothing for the dreamer in us.

I'd love a pirate theme (like the one in Paris) but would prefer it not be a character meal personally.

I am soooo with you on this one!! As the mom to 3 boys, I feel that there should be more for them. The princesses are great for the girls but I feel Disney is missing the boat for the boys. A Toy Story or Pirate themed character breakfast would be so special for all the boys out there...and I'm sure that it would appeal to many girls as well. A win,win situation!!;)

I would love to see a pirate themed pirate: restaurant or a villian one.

I would just like to catch the restaurant across from the ride open to give it a try!

I'd love to see a Blue Bayou in WDW like they have in DL. That is such a fun experience.

Me too! My boyfriend is a pirate! And I cant think of anything else that would make him more happy, especially after we went to the Princess Dining at Norway! (except a meet and greet Barbossa & Davy Jones!!) pirate:

A Pirates themed restaurant sounds awesome. Of course, a pirate character meal would be great too.

Love it too. I've been to the ones in DL and DParis. I have a PS for next month at the one in Tokyo (very excited!) Love the theme, not sure if a character meal would be up my street. Maybe with Disney characters in pirate costume (Disney Cruise Line pirate night is really great, the characters all have special outfits.

As for POC, not sure other than Captain Jack how that would work for a character meal. I think a bunch of random face character pirates would be a tad overbearing! Though if Ms Knightley wants a job for a few months, my DH would be happy to turn up for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day to support her.

I've seen Captain Jack on DCL, and to me he only just works. Davy Jones would be a costumers nightmare, there is a reason the CG'd it!! Wouldn't want them doing any of the other characters. I guess you could have Peter Pan. Though just a themed place would be great. They must have the space for a restaurant around there somewhere.

Also the reason for me bringing this up during our Feb trip it came up.

We were eating at Tony's Town Square and we were talking with our waiter about how popular the pirate and the princess party has become pirate: . He also mentioned that the head of Disney World pitched the idea to the head of Disney in California and they dropped it stating it would cost to much to build.

Yes it would be nice to have characters like Captain Jack, Captain Barbossa, Davie Jones or maybe Captain hook for a breakfast or lunch but a more adult atmosphere for dinner.

Why does this question sound so familiar? :rolleyes1

You have been reading my mind again, haven't you ;)

isn't pirate and portico in magic Kingdom Pirate themed but only open seasonally

I love the Paris one. I believe it is called Blue Lagoon. The flaming creme brulee was great...If I remember correctly Blue Bayou isn't really pirate themed.

Okay, maybe a character breakfast. I don't get up early enough for breakfast.

I know that my DS would love that! That would be an excellent idea. It would definately be worth it!

I think it would be great, and would fit in Adventureland perfectly. It could have a Tortuga-themed look to it. Wonder why they think it would be too expensive, wouldn't they re-coup their investment with the high prices they charge for dining anyway?

I've read rumors about this floating around the internet for a couple of years, but nothing definite.

I would love a pirate themed restaurant. The Toy Story one is a great idea too. My DD18 was very into the princess movies as a little girl but we have really enjoyed, what I guess would be, more boy-themed movies. The humor is so good.

Pirates, Toy Story, Monsters Inc.....all excellent ideas for a restaurant. Characters optional. I'd be happy either way.

Thumbs up :thumbsup2 from me - especially if decorated up like the movies as they are my all time favourite films!
