Would like to see a Pirates of the Caribbean Themed restaurant

Haven't read this thread, but if you want PotC themed dining just go to Disneyland Paris. They have it there.

It WAS really cool too! It was a little like the dining at the Mexico ride in WS. You could wave to the boats going by and hear the music. The food was mostly seafood, with tropical items like mango salsa. It was pretty good.


I should add that Paris also had Mickey shaped pizza inthe kids' meals. I don't understand why WDW can't do more cute food like that for the kids.

They have one at Disneyland and at Tokyo Disneyland also. It's the Blue Bayou. Can't remember what it's called in Paris. I don't remember any of them being very pirate themed, other than the boats going past, but it would be the ideal venue for something like that. Very lucky to have been to all three. They were all very good. TDL had Disney themed food everywhere, from burger buns, pizza's and this really cute Pluto bone pastry thing. I wish they had more of this type of thing at WDW, but I guess it's a cost/production issue.

I agree would be a good idea. Don't know how the character dining would be, but think a villians theme one would be great!

They used to have a Villians meal over at 1900 Park Fare. They got lots and lots of complaints that it wasn't an appropriate theme for kids (particularly young ones) as plenty got freaked out by the characters and their antics. So it went to something a bit more friendly. Not sure if Disney would revisit that one.

Our family would love a Pirate themed restaurant-even better if it is themed after POTC. We're not into the princesses and well, we love Mickey and all, but sometimes you want something a bit different.

I am soooo with you on this one!! As the mom to 3 boys, I feel that there should be more for them. The princesses are great for the girls but I feel Disney is missing the boat for the boys. A Toy Story or Pirate themed character breakfast would be so special for all the boys out there...and I'm sure that it would appeal to many girls as well. A win,win situation!!

I agree with everything above 100%. Toy Story would be great as they have Jessie too!



You would think Disney would have thought of this.

I would love any theme that is designed for boys, Pirates, Toy Story, etc! My DS 4 would love a place for him. He is not that into princesses.

I'd be content just to have the old Adventureland Verandah back. I used to love that place!

I'd love to see a Blue Bayou in WDW like they have in DL. That is such a fun experience.

ITA! The atmosphere is great (think the Mexican Pavilion at Epcot only POTC theme) and the food is very, very good(the Monte Cristo is a treasure).:earboy:

a pirate themed restaurant would be a welcome change - we'd be there, for sure! (especially if the character of jack sparrow poses for photos!)
