Would a family of 5 be comfy in a 1bd at BLT

We did a 1bd in AKL last year and found it to be plenty of room with our 3 kids. The kids loved it and we never felt cramped at all. Looking at the pics of BLT 1bd they seem so much smaller. We are going to try for a 1bd for our Dec stay when our 7 month window opens up. Of course we will be more then thrilled to stay at AKL but figured we would give it a try since DS really wants to stay there once. But if it is really that much smaller then I am just going to stay at AKL.

They aren't smaller. I think you'll be just fine - the 1br at AKV Kidani and BLT are almost identical in size. I think you'll find that the pictures are deceiving and the room is larger than it appears. Plus the layout is great - the kitchen is so much easier to move around in because it's open on 2 sides and there's a LOT more cabinet space.
