World Showcase - do you start w/Mexico or Canada?

USUALLY we start with Mexico but thats with coming in from the front and doing Test Track before heading to the countries

this Aug I believe we wont be getting to the countries until we're at BCV so we'll be starting with Canada and lunch at LeCellier - going counter clockwise - ending with dinner and margarita at Mexico

Mexico
except for the time we stayed at BCV and then we entered at International Gateway and went to the right.

We start with Mexico and work our way around.

We will be staying at BCV for part of our next trip--so I am sure that we will have a change. . . .Always awaiting for a new adventure!!

If we come from the front, we start with Mexico. If we come from the Gateway, typically we go to lunch at Le Cellier, so we'll start at Canada.

Since we do 2 days at Epcot, we always take the boat across and start with USA and work our way to Canada or start with Italy and work our way to Mexico.

My DH likes to start in Mexico. He likes to have a beer in every country. he feels if he goes aound the countries this way he saves the best beer for last. Although now he skips some countries because he feels they have no business making beer. Me, it doesn't matter I like going starting either way.

One mistake I made last time was starting at the Mexico side on a day i intended on going to the French Patisserie Bakery for the first time.

By the time i got to the bakery, they were sold out of chocolate croissants, which is what i was looking forward to!!

But i improvised and got a napoleon, probably the best one i ever had and a new favorite :)

I guess I learned from the mistake AND benefitted from it by finding a new favorite Disney snack :)

So i guess if there is a restaurant or store that you are looking forward to getting something in, be wary that they might sell out if you wait too long. And secondly, sometimes a small planning mistake in Disney can actually lead to a new good experience :)

:)

I go clockwise and start with Mexico. There would be an unnatural feeling for me if I were to go counter-clockwise.

Don't know why, but in the times DH and I have been to Disney we seem to always start at the Mexico side. We don't jump around either. We just make our way slowly around the world in order. I'm going to miss the Tapestry parade, we ALWAYS made time for that one. :( I guess since Tapestry is no more that will just leave more time to visit the World gift shops.....anyone seen those Disney Dollars?? :jumping1: :hyper2:

Mexico because it's closest to Norway. ;) I NEED my sweet pretzel from the Norwegian bakery first thing in the morning! :bounce:

I love Mexico - That & Morocco are my favorites. So I start in Mexico if coming form FW. If I come thru the Gateway, I start at France and make my way around that way.
