Hi,
We are excited to have the Wonder come Downunder to NZ and Oz. I'm just trying to plan which room to book for our wee family.
Do the inside staterooms with the pullman bed have the wee lights above it on the ceiling?
I'm trying to make the best decision for our daughter. I like the idea of interior but it may be too dark for her. She's seen the lighted ceiling on youtube but despite looking through room walk throughs I can't find many that show the rooms at night with the beds set up.

Many Thanks

Have a fabulous day

We stayed in an inside stateroom on the Wonder to Alaska this summer. The pull down bed had stars on the ceiling, but they did not light up. It was quite dark, but that is what we wanted in Alaska with the midnight sun. My kids were so exhausted from all the fun on the cruise they crashed each night with no complaints! They also brought toys they regularly sleep with at home that light up, so you may consider just bringing along a nightlight.

Thank you so much for that - She's at that age where we won't spend much time in the room, but isn't a fan of the dark. The night light would work (maybe we can bring one of the galaxy light up ones to give her the stary night look she's after). If we can save money it means more for shopping lol :D
The cruises aren't going anywhere so not really any need for a view on this particular cruise.

I'd bring a nightlight or some battery tea lights anyway. Especially if you gotta potty in the middle of the night. It's pitch black and it makes navigating small unfamiliar spaces easier.

we always bring a nightlight for the kids.
I feel that being Australian, we just don't need to pay for the view. It's something we see all the time, so it will be inside staterooms for us!

Yes! We felt that we wanted to save our money for excursions and so went with an inside room. We definitely didn't regret the inside room as we only slept there. And we loved the Wonder!!

On our cruise last month on the Magic I noticed my son flip a switch on the top bed when he was done reading. That was the first time I had realized there was a light. I don’t remember anything else about it though-location, brightness, etc.

Bring battery operated tea lights. They make great little nightlights.

On the standard inside rooms (no split bathroom) on Wonder, there are some that are sideways where the door opens in front of the sofa, with the bed to the left and bathroom to the right ( or vice versa). If going for standard inside, these have a more spacious feeling.

We’ve stayed in inside staterooms on the Wonder. When we had littles with us, we kept the light on in the bathroom, if I remember correctly. And we always keep the TV on, set to the channel that shows the bow of the boat. The room lights up as the sun comes up.
