Wonder getting REPO'ed to Vancouver!: May 20th, 2013 Official Thread!

We are taking quickcoach. They have a direct bus from the cruise terminal to downtown Seattle and then on to the airport. You can call them. They are super helpful.

if you don't mind me asking, what time is your seattle flight? i'm worried about the border crossing taking too long and missing the flight. i think the bus has to empty at the border, and that border crossing lines can be long. the flight needs to be on monday (the day we dock). what time do y'all think would be a safe time for the flight?

Our flight is actually Wednesday, so timing on that day is not an issue for us. However the bus is scheduled only to bring cruise ship passengers, so it does not have to empty off at the border. I think it is scheduled to be at the airport around 1:00 or 1:30. I would say maybe a 4:00 flight or after. But, like I said, give them a call (or check the website). I found them very helpful.

:thumbsup2 I know I have made a couple of ADR's for my pre-cruise visit to Disneyland. I am starting to mentally pack, I can't actually start too soon or I end up with way too many clothes. When we did this cruise in 2011 it was quite cool out on the Pacific, I didn't need to pack shorts or a bathing suit. I hope it is warmer this time. It's 54 days for me until we get to DL :cool1:

We are going to Disneyland also, which restaurants do you recommand making ADR for? We are staying at Grand Cal and I have been trying to learn all about how avoiding the long line for Carsland. :surfweb:

We did the opening day at Carsland last year and the best way to get through the line was to go with the Single Rider, my DD and I were still in the same car and it went fairly quickly!

One of my favorite's is the Plaza and you don't need an ADR. The Blue Bayou is also wonderful, over priced, but a nice experience, you will need an ADR. It is cheaper to go for lunch and the menu is the same. To tell the truth, I have not had a bad experience at any of the dining places in DL or DCA.

Carsland - if you are staying at GC then take advantage of the early entry morning, go directly to Radiator Springs, ride, then go get a FP for later, while you are waiting for the FP go through the singles line. We rode it about 4 times within an hour and a half by using the singles line and ended up in the same car a couple of times. The other rides will not have too long of lines. I recommend seeing it in the daytime and again at night, it is awesome when it is lit up at night.

I love single rider lines, but this time we'll have our 7 y.o. son with us, he has ADHD, so we have to be with him on the ride for safety reason. Good thing is that we are from Eastern time zone, so hopefully, we will get up early in time to take adventage of the EMH. Being parents are so diifferent now than what we were used to. It's like experiencing everything from a whole new angle. :goodvibes

Storytellers Cafe inside the Grand has fabulous food, although you likely wouldn't need a reservation. If you want Character Breakfast, try Goofy's Kitchen or Plaza Inn. Carthay Circle is new, and supposed to be wonderful, you WILL need a reservation.

I've been reading this thread, but I may run out of time before the cruise!

Are there any old navigators posted?
What do y'all think is the best dining rotation to request? Where would be best to dine on pirate night, for example.

Thanks!!

Hi!! We switched from the transatlantic to this one a while back but I never got around to posting. It will be me (Megan/16), my mom (Sharon), my aunt (Sandy), and my grandma and grandpa ( Carl and Joyce). This will be my mom and I's 12th cruise, my grandparents 5th and my aunt's 4th. I'm super excited!!!! :-)

There will not be a Pirate night on this sailing. That night is called Pixar Pals, or something like that.

Really?
Is there a different menu for Pixar night?
Because I just switched to Palo on that night.
Under my reservation is says Pirate deck party.

Thanks for the info.

DCL hasn't updated the website to reflect the change, but many people have called and confirmed this.
No clue what menu will be offered that night.

Hmmmmm....

Now I am wondering if I should change Palo.

So there will be a different show on deck that evening then?

Thanks again.

I hear you on this one. Love the Pirate trivia and the characters in their Pirates outfits, but I am not keen on Pirate night in the dining rooms or the deck party.

I was under the impression that this was just for the Alaska cruises.
