The time will no doubt fly by....we are all heading into the "busy" half of the year! For me, life from Labor Day to the end of the year is always a blur. It was worse when I had to do the whole back to school thing with my oldest, but now its still a never ending string of holidays strategically placed just far enough apart to make the months sing by. I figure I'll be just about recovered when its time to start packing.

I just noticed on the "what not to bring" page...

Coolers, except those carrying medications, baby food or items related to dietary constraints.

My husband and I like to have a drink sometimes and we were going to pack a cooler (I've read on here that it is ok) with a little bit of alcohol to save money. Does this mean that we cannot do this now?

My hubby (Bob) just surprised me and my daughter (Sarah) with this cruise. This will be our first cruise and we are super excited . My daughter will have just turned 6 the week before we leave!

Hi! We are in southern California also, in Winchester (Temecula). My husband and I bought our first home together in Corona in 2000. We have a daughter who will be 6 1/2 on the cruise! We also have a son who will turn 8 on the cruise. Just wanted to say "hello".

We will also be taking our kids out of school for the week. They will be in third and fourth grade. Hoping they stay healthy!

Thanks for the info about the Predator set, my husband and son will love this. They are going this weekend to see the new Predator movie. It looks really neat.

We have been playing the airfare game and trying to figure out to go ahead and buy or wait. We are also heading to Disney for a week in September so busy working out last minute details on that trip!

Anyone done research on hotels to stay at before the cruise? I am just now starting to look into that.

I ordered the Passporter Disney Cruise 2010 and they listed 5 places to stay near the port. I checked out the websites for all 5 and I think I will go with Doubletree. It's pricey (cause we're gonna need 2 rooms) but I signed up for the email newsletter for special offers. I'm hoping I'll get a good deal before February

When I go into 'My Cruise Plans' (after signing in with your reservation info), it shows only the port of Cabo on the schedule - the other two are removed and there isn't anything in their places. I can't figure out if it's a computer glitch or if they've changed our itinerary and just haven't posted it yet. I'd love to know if it's just mine that is messed up or if something is going on. I've already booked my flights so we're set no matter what!

It's been a hot topic on the boards lately. From what I understand, when people call DCL they are told everything is fine, and all ports are normal. They may be trying to decide which days they port and where.

Just checking in....we just got back from Vegas and have no other trips planned between now and the cruise so it's time to start concentrating on it! I'm waiting to see the list of excursions before we think about what to do. It's our 3rd Disney cruise, but I'm excited since it's our first time on the Wonder. I'm looking forward to (and I hope they still have them) the chocolate croissants!

For those of you on your first cruise ever, that first lunch buffet (in Parrot Cay if you can) is just the most awesome thing. That's when you realize that you are finally on a cruise! We ate and then the rooms opened up and the first thing I did was call my sister and tell her "OMG...you cannot believe the amount of food we just had".

Of course that first cruise got us addicted and a few cruises later and many of those awesome buffets has put a few pounds on us! Time to start dieting and do it all over again. So worth it! I lose 10lbs before each cruise and gain 7lbs on each one! Unfotunately with this trip to Vegas I didn't lose the 10lbs first and we had two buffets while there and my clothes are fitting rather snug right now!

Anyone else have their flights already? We just got ours through Southwest this morning. Not as good a price as we were hoping for but decent, I guess. The cruise seems real now! Oh, by the way, I didn't post my dds' ages. They will be 15 and 11 when we cruise. The couple we are cruising with have twin dds who will be 15 as well.

That was fun to change all that around!!

I enjoyed doing it . I think only a moderator can move a post to the top .
As far as that being the final list, I don't think so cause you're right, it's not sold out yet. I checked and they just opened up more 11b's. When a couple of days ago, they had none. All cat 11's are GTY. I checked cause one of the rooms we booked is an 11b and I'm hoping for an upgrade
