DH--39
DD#1--11
DD#2--8
DS--5

I rousted everyone early and DH could not understand why, tempers were flaring a little today. But I wanted to get off the ship and get a good spot on the beach. I slathered everyone with sunscreen first. We got our picture taken by the ship but got on the tram and as a result didn't get a professional one taken by the fake fish (we did take one ourselves on the way back)
I got a spot past Gils and the first bar, but before Groupers--once I found out what a hike it was to Gils to pick up our float and snorkel stuff, and to the kids clubs, I kind of wished I had stopped sooner! We were right in front of the big structure kids can jump off of. We all spent about an hour horsing around, then I dropped off DS and DD#2--although her group was at Groupers, so I had to walk to Scuttles cove and then all the way back! And me without my pedometer! I took the time to get my first konk cooler at this point!
DH had lost his watch out in the water and had the snorkel mask on looking for it. It was his idea that we snorkel together, although that meant renting another set of equipment, which I made him go get. Before we left I tracked down the kids and gave them more sunscreen, esp. DD#1 with her new braids (she never burned all week). We snorkeled all the way out and met my objective of getting pictures with the sunken Mickey. After DH and I ate lunch and I dumped more money at She Sells etc., we happened to see a counselor taking DS to the bathroom. He looked uncomfortable and when he saw DH wanted to come with us, so we signed him out. DD#1 had signed herself out by this time. We swam some more and finally DD#2 was signed out by me. At 2PM I wanted them to come in so the kids would have time to wash before rehearsal for the kids show--DH knew I was getting upset and pretty much deliberatly made us stay on the island until 2:45 or 3. We had to walk back because the tram was loaded. I got the kids wiped down a little (no shower time) and off to the clubs by 4. Then I showered and went to the theatre where they were supposed to be. The debarkation talk was ending and the theatre was packed! I did pick up some info I had forgotten about. Then I got a great spot for the show and videotaped almost all of it before my battery died. There were 3 great pictures of DD#2 and one of DS, but they delete the photos right after the show :( , so I hope they show up on the video.
DH and I got a picture taken alone (we didn't like the first one) and bought the 6 pictures we had left at Shutters to complete our package. Then we ate again at Parrot Cay. I had an aqua marina to drink, the fried seafood platter, the florida citrus and baby lettuce, the roasted red snapper and the chocolate decadence, which again I could not finish. We tipped Alun and Gavin well because they were really awesome. On the up side, during dinner DH checked lost and found and someone had turned in his watch! He thought it was lost to the sea. He said there was a huge box full of watches, cameras, shirts etc.
I went to bingo for the last night--I got there late and got a ticket which I thought was $20 but was $35  and didn't win anything. People win so fast!!! I'm not regularly a Bingo girl and I guess this is why.
DH and the kids were saving me a spot at Disney Dreams. Now I go against the grain on this, but I was not bowled over by this show. The majority of it was like a "clip show" with best of clips of several musicals. Yes well performed, but ho hum. I did cry at the end, though when the ship got pixie dusted, etc.
Later we sat on deck 4 for a while and bought a couple of last minute things. We picked up the kids from the clubs and turned in the pager. DS was asleep again! The downside is I have no idea if any of that pile of artwork sitting there for pickup was his. Everyone asleep by 1AM, and all of our stuff except the day bags was long gone.

You're not alone...I feel the same way about Disney Dreams. The ending was also my favorite part of the show.
