Won a prize in the Finding Nemo Sweepstakes.

No big thing, but I received a cute surprise in the mail today. A Finding Nemo beach towel and inflatable tote bag. I am alway entering these online contests and never win. Naturally, I'd rather win the trip, but it was fun nonetheless.

Anyone else ever won a prize by registering on the internet or mailing in a postcard?

I was all excited about 2 months ago. I won 2nd prize in a contest that Lifesavers was running online. 1st prize was something good like a car, I think. Turns out 2nd prize was a free roll of Lifesavers. Oh well, still fun to win something.

My DS won a GameboyAdvanced game from the WB network. We were so thrilled and surprised when it came in the mail.

Sweeping is one of my other pastimes besides Disney. I have won quite a few good things. I won a 4 night trip to Washington DC, a home entertainment system, gamecube, a few certificates for spas, and some smaller wins. I'm still trying for that Disney trip or cruise! LOL

Small amounts of cash, a couple of gift certificates, a Matrix VHS, basketball shoes (from Nutella), Scooby Doo trinkets. Still waiting for a big score!

The best thing we won was an all expenses paid trip to Disneyland / Grand California to be in a commercial for the Disney Club!!!!

We were one of 9 familys picked for the contest in 2001. We had a great time with all the DC/CM's and were treated like royalty during our entire 5 day stay.

Wow. Awesome about winning trips. That's what I'm always hoping for. And yes, there are a lot of the beach towels - 2,300 per week according to the contest promotional material.

A few months ago I was on Disney's official Website and was asked to take a short survey about changes they were getting ready to make. A few weeks later I received a $100 check in the mail saying I won a drawing I was entered in after completing the survey....That was nice.

I am always entering contests!! When I was little it got me in trouble when the saleman came to our door looking to sell us a set of encylcopedias!! I thought I was entering to WIN!

Anyways, always entering does pay off. About 6-7 yrs. ago.(boy does time fly!!) I won a walk on extra role to be on Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. They flew my husband and I out to Calif. Put us up in a nice hotel and we were given a rental car too. We were picked up the day of the shoot in a limo. and spent the day on the set. WOW!! That' was fun!! Met all the cast members, got autographs and was seen on the show. I looked horrible since they weren't supposed to wear makeup in those days. And it was sooooooo hot and it was supposed to be winter. A few other winners were there as well.
Also gave us gift certificates to eat at places and gave us tickets for other things as well. On our own, we went to see the taping of Jay Leno. Got to go up on stage and meet him before they began taping. Got a picture with him. So much fun!!
So it does pay to enter. Someone has to win! Might as well be me...(or you!)
