WL - Travel Channel - Anyone tape it?

Yesterday was the last time it was on and I forgot to set the VCR. I am so upset with myself!! I really wanted to see the show as we have never stayed at the WL before. I was going to use the video to actually tell the kids that we are going to Disney!

Anyway, if anyone taped it, could I buy a copy or borrow your copy to make a copy. I will be happy to pay shipping both ways!

I'd love to get a copy also, I know it's a hassle and I'll be glad to pay. It's amazing, we have something like 98 channels but no travel channel. Sounds like a Springsteen song, doesn't it?

I have a DVD copy that I know can somehow be loaded onto my computer to be made available for download...but I have no idea how to do it. As odd as this may seem, I don't own a VCR anymore, so making a tape is not possible. If someone would let me know how to put it on my computer, I'd e-mail the file to whoever wants it.

You can use a program called claddvd to pull it off the dvd and on to your computer, but the file will be rather large and most email systems wont accept it.

Is this the same Travel Channel program that they ran last summer? If so, I have a tape of WL -- also AKL, GF & Y&BC........
I'm going to play it now, to make sure it's in good shape.......

Next problem -- I need help to solve this one -- Any electronic geniuses out there?:

I borrowed another VCR, hooked up AV cables from that VCR into mine, but it won't copy the tape-- (My VCR is hooked up to TV thru cable box, if that means anything)

Ok hope this helps Copying a tape
Set up one VCR as the player and the other as the recorder.
You'll need a set of RCA connector cables
Each end is color red and white, make sure each end matches the other on both VCRs.
Ready here goes.
Attach the end of one cable (RCA Connector) to the VIDEO IN of the recording VCR, the other end to the VIDEO OUT connector of the playing VCR.
Attach the end of the second cable to the AUDIO IN connector of the recording VCR, the other end to the AUDIO OUT connector of the playing VCR.
Put the origainal tape (the one you want to copy) in the playing VCR.
Put the blank tape in the recording VCR.
Pree the input button on the remote or VCR (Input Selector) so VIDEO is shown on the TV screen.
At the same time, press PLAY on the playing VCR and the Rec/OTR button on the the recording VCR.

When the recording is done stop both VCRs. Press input selector on the remote or VCR to return to normal TV recording.

Is it store bought tape or did you tape it off tv? If it is stor bought it may have copy protection on it.

The WL is one of the 7 episodes that you can vote for, and you can watch a 2-3 minute clip of her in the Lobby.

I'll be staying at the WL Aug25-Sept08 and would love to show this video to the rest of my party who will be travelling with me to the WL. If anyone could make me a copy i would be really grateful.
Last year I managed to obtain the AKL,GF, and BC videos from a very helpful member of this site but i can remember who it was.

Anyway if anyone could manage to make a copy that would be great.

Unfortunately, yesterday, after sending the tapes to those who had already sent me their address, I returned the other VCR....

Maybe someone else taped the Travel Channel shows, & would volunteer??
