Hi
I decided to do a split stay in August and with the discount I booked a room at WL, courtyard view with bunkbeds. (Three nights at WL and 4 nights at POFQ). I've always wanted to stay here but it seemed like so much money to spend on the room. I tried to get AK first, but they were all booked up. So how are the rooms with the bunkbeds? It will be only my DD, my DGD (5) and myself. I can't wait to stay here. :yay: Any opinions? Thanks!!!

We stayed there last November and loved it. the kids loved having the bunk bed. there is plenty of space and the view is great. just make sure you request an inner courtyard view. Thanks to these boards, i knew that when I checked in. If I hadn't I would have taken the first room they offered which was a view of the Villa's courtyard. I had to wait until later in the day for a different room to be ready, but it was worth it! Have a great time!;)

We're planning on staying there in Aug. too. We'll be in the courtyard view w/ bunkbeds so I requested inner courtyard view off the lobby. If we get a room off the lobby, my only concern is noise but I really wanted to be able to open the door and be right there.

We were there the last week in June with a bunk-bed, inner-courtyard room and loved it. We were on the 4th floor, overlooking the pool. Loved getting up in the morning an watching the ducks in the pool and the bunnies nibbling on the bushes. The music they have playing really is peaceful. At night, we'd sit on the balcony and watch people coming and going from the boat, and talk about the day's events. It was me, DH, DS9 and DD5. There was enough room for us to get ready in the mornings without tripping over each other. Plenty of storage for us to keep things organized and out of the way. Loved being in the lodge, not having to go outside to go to a restaurant or gift shop. HTH

We stayed there on our Honeymoon 12 years ago :) LOVED IT! We didn't have a room w/ a bunk bed but we did walk through one a few years back and noted how it would be a great room w/ kids (that was when we only had 2!! LOL). I think you'll enjoy it and your DGD will love the theming :)

We are also staying at WL for the first time - Aug 15-24. Thanks to all for the great reviews - we are looking forward to staying there now.

Thanks everyone!! I did call back and request an inner courtyard view!!!
When they give you your room number at the check-in desk, be sure to note if it ends with an odd number - those are inner courtyard. If it's even you're facing "out", which isn't what you wanted. That's bound to be confusing - just remember "odd is good".

We will be there 8/19 - 8/23, then on to BC 8/23- 8/26!!!:yay:

See many of you there!! We are so excited!!!:dance3:

Thanks!! That's really a great tip, and you made it easy to remember.:thumbsup2
