Hello, WISHers!
Well it sure is Monday morning. After a GREAT 12 miler on Saturday I should have expected today's run would not be quite up to par. I got in 4.8 miles in my 45 minute run but was breathing pretty hard at the end. I've also got a blister that popped up again. Good news is that the hip feels pretty good right now!

fits better than
!
Mel - I am also freaking a bit at going past 13 miles. This weekend I drop back to 10 and then next Friday I'll have to do 14. Yikes!
Wendy - So sorry about your dad. Congrats on getting the 20 miler in! I really wanted to get to that concert but LTO.
Kim - I am excited for your half next weekend! Woo hoo!
Vic - Just keep at it! It will get better.
ironz - It's great to have a good finish on a 7 miler!
Christa - Glad the ankle's feeling good!
Susie - WTG on the 8 miler!
Bill - Yikes on the killer frogs! The thing I've had to watch out for here is the fire ants which seem to be taking over.
Martha - Great job on the pace for your 7 miler! Accept it - you're that fast!
Steve - Sounds like you got plenty of XT in last week. Hope the knee makes it through the LR next weekend!
Stacey - Ramping up the distance is exciting and scary at the same time!
Lily - Hope you can get into the groove!
Stephanie - Good luck with the race next weekend!
patsBill - laundry + installing a door + watching football = xt?
TXAng - Ask the doctor! He will probably say yes, but you need to make sure!
Lou - Sounds like fun with the Garmin!
Heather - I still have not gotten up enough courage for an ice bath!
Jen in GA - Yuck! That humidity in horrible!
Sorry if I missed anyone. Happy training, all!

but we will have to agree to disagree on this one. It was a awesome game, high scoring which I like and , DH, DS and myself had a great day.
Bout time McNabb and the guys got it going!
This year I missed the Wildcard game. But the way the dates are, in 2008 it'll be the Div. Champ. At least I'll be home in time for the conference championship game

). Both of you have the base to get there, it's not like you've gone from 0 to 14 in 3 weeks.

I really enjoy walking outdoors, but if the weather sucks as much as it usually does in Western Washington, Ill have to take it indoors many days. The marathonwalking.com plan well be training with has cross training days mixed with walking days. I like that, a lot. Ive been trying out different DVDs to use on cross training days. I really like the One Minute Workout with Minna Lessing, which Ive shared before. I just tried a Pilates workout with a stability ball. That was tough, but I liked it too. I do the Blockbuster Online for our video rentals and they have a whole slew of exercise DVDs to choose from. Ill be using that, and the library, to increase my video knowledge.
