It's official, I have a running addiction...
According to my schedule I was supposed to do 6 on Saturday, 12 on Sunday. Well, coming off a death cold, I knew I wouldn't hit those numbers.
Saturday I ran in a 5k (26:45
). Then I sent DD and DH to a movie at 5 so I could attempt to finish my Sunday mileage (tried to flip-flop the days). Coach Harry and I went about 7.5 before we had to head back to beat the moviegoers home. I was changed and reasonably put together when they came home and here's the crazy part-- I didn't tell them I went running because I didn't want to listen to them... I'm officially hiding my addiction from my loved ones- that can't be good.
Sunday I did 3.5 again with the bambino. It was just slow and steady, but I felt so much better that I am sort of getting back on schedule.
Jen117- trust me, colds will sap your will to live, much less run. You'll be ok (and I really think I did better in my 5k because I had taken some time off).
For those of you going to San Francisco and Tower of Terror, bring your necklaces!! I want to see one! Speaking of which, I think Robert needs to add a category for race bling on his site- we can all send in pictures of medals to help with decision making...

I'm looking forward to hearing about your training.
WTG! I hope to see you and Leana next Sunday. I’ll be wearing a WISH shirt.

I am waiting patiently until Thursday for my MRI results. The first thing I am going to do is get my MRI results on a disc so I can take them to a real sports medicine guy, because I know for a fact he is going to tell me again not to run!
you got the steps in! Next time will be easier!
Lets hope someone out there knows for sure....I will do a google search and see what I come up wiht.
