Just a quick drive by - since I am still at work and I actually have work to do today. I did my 5k run on Saturday and posted a race report with pictures on the race report thread. I was a little sore from that - for the first time since I started running my quads are bothering me - for once its not my calves!! LOL So yesterday I knew I had to get 7 miles in and I had to go to a morning gymnastics comp for my niece. I ended up getting on the TM around 7:30PM and just walked most of the 7 miles - at around 6 miles I started running and I could feel it in my lower legs but it didn't feel too bad and I could keep going. I really don't mind training on the TM (I actually might be kinda wierd - wait didn't I just say in another post that I am normal - at least I think I am normal!! LOL) I see most people dread the TM - to me I enjoy the long walks/runs on the TM because I pop in a DVD and I just go - I actually end up paying better attention to the movie then if I watch it on the couch!!! We are starting to get better weather down here so hopefully soon I can get outside and get those miles in)
So only 12 more days till TOT and
at the distance!! I am hoping that I won't be too tired the days after - I want to be able to enjoy WDW - but I know it won't be a busy busy trip - I am planning on taking it easy the 2 days after.
Today I have stretch & strength and tomorrow is a 5 mile run.

I hate it.
I can't even wear flip flops because I hate having something between my toes - I can't believe these socks didn't bother me.
They also have a kid's costume that matches. I probably will have to return Zack's Gymbo pirate costume and get the other one. I am weird about matching.
Sooo...no clue on distance or pace, but I got in about 42 minutes.

I am still cheering everyone on from my desk over here in this dark little corner, and getting in my runs where I can - a little over 7 miles tonight, might have been longer but I got caught out after dark (yet again).

I haven't been able to read any of the thread...but I will! I got 5 miles in today.....and it was good! Yeah!
), seem to move from ailment to ailment.
Isn't that hysterical? When I looked down at my garmin and saw I'd been jogging for the first 7+ minutes, I decided to just keep jogging. Every once in a while I'd slow to a walk for a minute or so, but I forced myself back into a jog as quickly as possible. The funny thing is Howard went with me to the 5k and found out when he got there that it was for women only (Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k), so he ended up being my scream team for the first time ever.

I really hope you didn't hurt your hip again.
