Cecilia: I hope you're feeling better today. Take care of yourself.
Carrie: Posture Patrol--too funny! No, I didn't swear at you--or even at the thought of you. Given how having good posture hurts, though, maybe I should have!

Oh well, working that core is good for me, right? And yes, I'm paying attention to my posture as we speak. I won't say what it was a couple of minutes ago.

Remember, I'm watching you, too!
Bill: Lynnda's cake is incredible. Seems like such a shame to eat a cake that beeyoootiful. Wait a minute, not it doesn't. It's cake. Did you save a piece for me?
Angie: That's a LOT of miles--and miles you should be proud of. I'm sorry to hear about your back, though. Btw, is this week any crazier than your normal crazy weeks?

You're posting great times regularly, so that almost makes up for getting up at the hour I hope never to see outside the marathon weekend. Another thing I hope not to see? A room full of disappointed Body Pump athletes, just waiting for their morning endorphins to kick in & kick some absent instructor's booty!
Craig: Here's hoping your semester flies by; this semester is particularly hard, I think, because of the way spring & Easter break fell so closely together (assuming your institution observes both).
Dave: Pandas are certainly cute, but innocent? There's something shifty about their eyes, especially on April 1st. I like 'em, but wouldn't trust a Panda farther than I can throw one. P.S. I hadn't realized it was 12 pounds in a month. WTG!!!
Tracy: Have a great time at WDW! Maybe I'll see you there, even if I don't know it. Great 3 miler, too!
CarolA: Hey, I say you toughed it out on the TM and Parker would be proud. 4 miles is no joke.
NEBill: That's just the perfect argument, the one I needed to make. Vic, are you listening? Bill, I need you as part of my pit crew!
Lily: What a great walk--Kirby should be proud. (You, too!) I'm glad you're happy to get back to work. It won't cut into your DIS time, will it?
Leana: DOOD stands for Dear One of Debra. DH has his own special personality, and DH just wasn't cutting it. I think I need to add that explanation in my siggie, so thanks for asking. Geez, that's a great time with hills! I would have never guessed you had your wisdom teeth out & got sick from that pace. And then to do your next run in a 9:49! What was in that cough syrup????
Morgan: It's been years since I bowled, so that sounds like a fun change of pace from running. Good for you! I think it's great that you went running with a friend, not just because it's running with a friend but because you were able to see your progress as well. I hope you're feeling better about all that you're doing.
AlohaJeff: Ah yes, the forced-taper-due-to-illness method of training. I hear it's highly effective, if not recommended for setting PRs. I hope it doesn't affect your 10K. And I have to admire your, um, networking skills. Hopefully it will pay off with some hefty discounts.
Kristi: OMG! That's wonderful news. I know how important that 5 year mark is. Blech, that Contrast stuff--I'm sure Chad is ecstatic not to have to drink that. Why bother to make a coconut flavor? You and Chad must be floating on air!
(I do hope you're feeling better for your half, though.)
Stacie: Your Minnie trip is going to be fantastic. You're making your own swag, you're earning your bling, and there's an anniversary to be celebrated at that time. Of course, that last bit makes me wonder what your pre-race strategy will be with regards to

(yeah, you know what I'm insinuating). You'll want to be careful not to become too relaxed before the event as it might take your edge off, you know.
Scott: My friend, it is YOU who is witty. I'm still laughing at SWISHers & SandWISHers. And if I ran a movie theater & showed
Spirit, my concession stand would sell Gu. You're a brilliant marketer! I'm gonna ride ToT twice, once for you!
Krista: You and Stephen, Steelers fans? Really? I wouldn't have guessed.

Where are you two registered for baby things. I can think of a couple of things the baby will absolutely NEED, especially since I think he's got a future career as a placekicker. (I would have said punter, but that would have been open to misinterpretation.

Panda!)
As for me: Another day, another run. It was a bit chilly & windy early this morning, so DOOD & I went to the gym. Especially because DOOD decided to push his LR up this weekend to day. His schedule? A 20 miler. On a TM. So he can work on his speed. And I was working on my meastly 4 miles. Sometimes I just hate him.
His run went fine, but now on to the important stuff. My run.

it's shorter so I have to work harder to savor it, right? So I compensate by running much slower than he does. My run went really well, except for that last part where I get off the TM & look for the spray bottle. I wasn't paying much attention, I guess, because I end up standing in the path of a long-legged runner on another TM just as he decides to "float" off the belt. A swift kick in my face was narrowly averted, although I probably deserved it. What will I do next--stop in the middle of a race course to tie my shoes?
I then occupied the rest of my gym time with various cardio machines while wondering if I would ever have it in me to run 20 miles straight on a TM.
