Jen - Your daughters are adorable!
Oh and yeah, do wonder when the mileage thing happens. I'm doing the Chicago 1/2 because it's only 4 more miles than the Minnie.
I am feeling SO much better. Did a little light gardening over the weekend, ran errands by myself and am walking around like a human again! I know not to over do it too soon but feels great to be up and around.
Jen - the girls are so stinkin' cute!
Now all this WDW talk is making me want to sneak in a trip to either MGM (I am resisting the new name) or MK on Saturday. Zack is very into Indiana Jones right now, so seeing that at MGM would be cool. And there's the new Toy Story ride. Not so cool that it will be absolute mayhem with Star Wars weekend. There is always MK. Then again, there is also a great deal of $$$ involved in buying tickets to get an unplanned Disney fix in. Maybe we can make do with DTD or the Boardwalk Saturday night? I must stay off the DIS so I do not give in to the dark side...![]()
Got ice cream to go with those cookies?![]()

Rozzie - I would probably use the 15K training program, but make your last long run 8 mi, then a shorter run, mayb 4 mi, the week before the race. I'm guessing you probably found Hal Higdon's 15K plan?

As people have told me recently, your kids are only young once so take advantage of them as much as possible. A nice weekend with the family to see Indy and MK would give lots of memories.
I'm on the floor dyeing laughing right now with your story about the "flying Ipod". OMG, I had that happen one time when I first started walking. I was outside walking and my arm hit the wire and the earphones came popping out of my ears and it detached from the player, so the earbuds went flying about 5feet behind me. hehe. I lookd around to see if anybody in the cars going by saw me and I just had to laugh about the whole thing.

Ok, Bill - you are on the evil instigator list too!![]()
HI!!! Glad you got some runs in.
ixiedust: for your 5K You can do it!!! We believe in you.
I hope you enjoyed your ice cream!!

but as my kids grow older they don't think it sounds like as much fun anymore!!
You have come to the right place for motivation and encouragement, as well as a few laughs!! We are so glad you are here.
