Okay, I think I am all caught up, work has been busy this past week, so it took me a while to read all the posts. Hopefully I didn't miss one! Thanks everyone for all the congrats about the 1/2 marathon entry. Even though I have been running since August (I haven't officially trained for anything since mid-August), it's been sporadic, so I have to jump back into training mode and quickly! I ran 3 miles Monday night, last night I biked on the stationary bike, tonight I am walking on the TM as xt, and tomorrow is 3 miles. I'm not training super hard-core--only 3 running 3 days a week and xt 2 days, I'm hoping this will keep any potential knee injuries at bay. I'm certainly not running this half to set any records, as long as I feel good throughout the race, I'll be happy!
Dana--

I hope you are having a better day today.
Craig--Sorry to hear that you are eating out of Tupperware containers whilst Martha is feasting on some of Boston's best restaurants! Did she at least bring you a doggy bag?

I am very jealous that you are coming to the end of your semester and get some time off. Why didn't I become a teacher???
Optimator--I didn't say my friend and I were that close.
Bree--It's good to see you back! I know what you mean about running alone, I ran every training run and race by myself from May 2005-August 2007. The last 3 races we've done, Stephen and I ran together, which was great, by now I have to retrain myself to be a loner!! By the way, Luke is very cute!!
Jen GA--I've never run a race with a stroller, but all the 5K's and 10K's I've done, have asked stroller runners to start at the back of the pack. And yes, I have been passed by a stroller before. Many times, actually.
Mel--You've only seen snow twice in your life!!!!

We have about 3 inches on the ground right now, but Ohio weather is crazy, it could be 70 degrees by tomorrow!
Great job to everyone who is getting out there and putting your miles in, I was really impressed with everyone, reading about all the 18 and 16 milers for the full people and 8 and 9 milers for the half. Good luck with training and stay healthy!!!!!
Sorry this is so short, but I really shouldn't be on here at all, I need to learn to DIS from home when I have time!
