Where would I go to get one of the best views for wishes that I could sit comfortably, hear well and see the front of the castle? :earboy2: :rolleyes1

In front of the Train station is a good place. You get a view right down Main Street. Plus once Wishes is over, you're one of the 1st out of the park.

I would love to have a spot up on the train station platform for wishes. I heard there are rocking chairs up there....what time is the best time to mark the territory ;)

Not rocking chairs, but padded, wrought iron chairs.

We sat on the bridge heading into Tomorrow Land and had an awesome view. We have always stood on Main Street and never realized what we were missing until this past year until we found the view on the bridge. There are some benches but I'm guessing they fill early, we brought a bath towel from our resort and sat on that on the ground.

The only negative is that you're fighting with the rest of the massive crowd to leave when Wishes is over.

There is a path behind the Tomorrowland Speedway going to Toontown,to the left if you're facing the video game area at Space Mountain, although you get the back view of the castle it's still a nice view, and when I was there 2 yrs ago, it was only 5 of us there.

DH and I sat on the train platform on our last visit. We got our chairs about two hours ahead...and we were NOT the first ones there! We took turns holding two chairs as we each went into the shops on Main Street and then got take out food to eat while we waited. Not a good plan for kids, but for us "older" folks it works well. :)

We found right outside of the Snow White ride to be an awesome spot. Move a little towards Dumbo.

We have watched from the train platform as well. It was raining so it was a definite plus. We were there at least 2 hours ahead. It was a nice though. Also, we prepared to fight for your spot. We were right at the rail but people still tried to squeeze in front of us. They were almost sitting on our laps. Needless to say, that didn't last long. :)

Do you have to be inside the park to see Wishes? Or, could you see it from the Contemporary or Polynesian?

You can see it from all 3 MK resorts. Two popular places to go are the beach at Poly or the California Grill at Contemporary (but you'll have to eat here now - I don't think you can just show up to watch anymore).

Sit on top of the train station. There are chairs up there. If you plan on riding rides after words, either off to the left or right of Main St.

How crowded was the beach at Poly. to watch Wishes and could you also see the parade on the water from there: Can you watch and hear Wishes from the beach at GF.

Can you just go to Polly and sit on the beach to watch?...even if your not a hotel guest? And what other places outside of MK are you able to view wishes?

We will be arriving on a Wed afternoon (plane lands around 4pm)...and skipping any parks this day...just doing dinner and DDT and maybe some pool time. However...I was planning on watching wishes in the park...but I don't think they will be doing it on either Thursday or Friday....because BOTH of those nights are MNSSHP nights...so I think Wed...is going to be our ONLY time to see it. So ANY options to see wishes outside the park would be much appriciated.

we could see if from our room at the GF, but without the sound.
Down below us I could see that they had set up speakers for people watching outside.

Here's my vote for the Tomorrowland bridge. The view is just fine and the crowds are always quite pleasant.
