Carrie, what's the status of the Alert shirts? I assume you placed an order. (I don't need to order any, but we may have new members, post-DL 1/2, who are curious. :goodvibes) And in case I don't say this enough, you rock! :worship:

Actually, they are goign in this weekend. The 2 who have not paid, put us below minimums. Luckliy, the last minute orders have made up for it. If they can get their order in tonight and pay over the weekend, I can get it in.
 
I got lots of compliments & question about my WISH shirt this weekend at Detroit.

A couple of ladies asked if I had extras they could buy!

Tracy - They are having issues with some shirt sizes adn we are trying to work that out now. Once that's fixed, they are next in line for printing so it should be no more than a week to get to me and a week to get them out. Never had this problem before. So sorry about the delay!

I finally got a hold of my contact today. (He wasn't returning e-mails adn that was how we alway scorresponde) Anywqya, not good news. They changed a lot w/o letting me know. I am workign on optiosn, though and am verey close. WIll e-mail all with orders as soon as I have my options. Hopefull by Wed. My goal is to get someone with very quick turn.

My apologies to all of you. This has never happened before. :sad2:
 
I know I have already said this, but this is at least the 6th shirt order I have done with AlertShirt and I have never had any problems like this. All I can say is that I'm sorry.

Originally, they were out of sizes in the tanks. I e-mailed back asking about alternatives and if people decided not to order, if they would accept an order at less than their minimum. I got no response to that or to a follow-up e-mail. Between vacation and catching up, and not having a lot of time during working hours for personal phone alls at work, I was not able to call him until today. Normally, when we get to this stage, I can have the shirts in a week, so I did not panic right away.

During our phone conversation today, he noted that they now longer have shirts without pockets and they are working with a new company and many thing shave changed. WTH??????? This was a little late for this information. Basically, this marks the end of the AlertShirt era.

Now, Tracy (dsnyfan21) has a shirt from MakeAShirt.com that she kindly compared to AlertShirt for me. I have also worked with MakeAShirt for a tri shirt I had done. They were able to rush that through quickly and I am hoping that they thought of future work will inspire them to do the same.

My plan now is to e-mail MakeAShirt tonight and get a start on things. They can do everything without minimums, so you will have the option to cancel and get a refund if you'd like.

According to Tracy, the shirt she had made is shinier and silkier than AlertShirts, more like the Race Ready. The color is in between the 2. I also saw coolmax Ts and tanks on the site that were "safety yellow" that look very similar to the AlertShirts.

As for the non-tech shirts, if MakeAShirt can't get those shirts, I can get those unprinted from AlertShirt and have MakeAShirt print them. The coolmax shirts I saw were similarly priced to Alertest. If the style Tracy had are much more, I will let you know.

I just wanted to let you know More details. I hope to have final options tomorrow night. Thanks for bearing with me. I am so sorry that things have gone this way.

If possible, can I get an order in when you find the new company? I promise to pay you within 24 hours.

Give Carrie a chance to get things figured out.
She probably needs to go through all the placed orders and she if she can find another vendor to do them and then figure out price changes and all that and I am sure that will take some time.
She'll get back to you guys soon and let you know if she is then going to place new orders.

Thanks Tracy! That's exactly where I stand.

Shirt person said she'd call me today. At this point, I don't know if I can make it work or not. With the short time frame and my holiday schedule, I don't know if I have it in me to take in new orders.

I can only take it one step at a time right now and the first step is to see what I can do for those who ordered long ago. I will post when I know on that and will know my next step then. Best I can do.

The new vendor is supposed to be calling me today to discuss. Hopefully, I will have more info tonight.

Update: I spoke with MakeAShirt yesterday. She is really going ot do all she can to help. I should have final info today. Hopefully, will post tonight with details. If all works out, will be contacting those with orders already placed otnight. I'd like ot have final numbers in to go Monday. If that can happen, I should have them ot you before Christmas. Please keep your eyes open here and in your e-mails this weekend for final details.

New Orders: I hope to let you know if it's possible tonight. If it is, I will post details. However, I will need your order and payment by Sunday evening. Plus, I will likely only be online tonight, will try to check in Saturday night and then not agian until after 7 pm Sunday. So, PLEASE check in here. We're working on a very quick time frame.

I did not hear from MakeAShirt today. I can't imagine i'll hear from her thsi weekend :guilty: but I'll keep you posted.
