Carrie - did you try the minnie with or without your compression shorts?

Regarding Compression shorts - I found at Dick's Sporting the UA 7" comp shorts... now my question to you seasoned runners - do I want them to be fitting yet comfortable, or tight with little wiggle room. Not tight to the point that they are rolling down my tummy - but snug enough to make an indent - where the size up fits snug, without any indents? I hope that makes sense?!

Tink - WIth compression shorts. I left the brief in. Still not sure if I want to cut it out to make potty stops easier, but it's so light that I don't knwo that I have to cut it out. Hmmm....I guess my shorts make slight dents. Too much dent will hurt after a while though. If they are snug w/o any gaps at all when you move around, tehn go for it. You want them to move with oyour skin, not rub IYKWIM. I know, it's vague. From what you said, I think the bigger ones will be fine. HTH.

I was thinking about getting shorts for underneath the Minnie, too. The brief underneath is VERY tiny! Did you wear the shorts over the brief or under the brief?

And since I don't have any compression shorts which brands do you guys prefer?

I love the Minnie print, but it really shows my tummy roll... hoping the compression shorts will help with that.

You know what's funny? I first saw the minnie skirt at the Disneyland Half expo last september. I emailed runningskirts when I got home from that and they told me that they planned to make it with the compression shorts. Wonder why they didn't?

Becky, I emailed them, too and they told me they were thinking about it. Then I emailed them back a few months later to ask if they ever decided and they didn't answer me back.

Curious if the athletic style the shorts underneath ride up or are they tight?

I got the atheltic style and my shorts are a bit lose. I'm taking it to my mom's tomorrow to have her take a tuck in them. I'm hoping she can just take them in towards the bottom of the leg and that keep them tight enought to not slip up... I hope!

HOnestly - I'm thinking teh full comp shorts built in teh skirt are too finicky. I'd rather get the comp shorts I usually wear and put them under. This is teh firs ttiem I did that but I've onlly had one pair with teh built in comp shorts taht worked well.

Comp shorts have to be under due to teh way teh built in brief and skirt connect.

I love my UnderArmor comp shorts, but have never had a prblem with CHampion. They do have a cotton area for people who wear tehm commando, though, so I liek mu UA a little more. (Hmmm...trying to describe that area and not upset the filters is not easy)

The comp shorts showed probably 3 to 4 inches below teh Minnie. DOesn't bother me, as I am used to that look with regular shorts over them. I believe mine are UA 7". HTH.

Shan, mine actually posted back to my account before the debit for the skirt came out! But then again, I paid via debit card rather than bank account transfer.

Cryssi, I actually picked up two pairs of "wicking" panties at Target (near the sports bras). As long as I keep my weight in check they work great.. if I get lazy and gain they won't stay put and I end up with runners wedgie.

I completely missed this post, Morgan, and I was at target yesterday... But the ones I ordered from runningwarehouse are actually "out for delivery" today, so it's all good...

btw...anyone...did runningskirts send you a confirmation e-mail, or was the debit out of your paypal the confirmation? I'm impatient...lol

cryssi, I'd say email them. I had to email to get the discount and it was taken care of that night and was advised by the via email.

I have been waiting to decide about posting about the order. I got the athletic and really like the fit. I cannot wait to get out and try it. I love the little bit more generous fit of that for my bootay.

I modeled the Minnie for DH and he said he didn't think I would be presentable just yet in them if I go with just their panty style. He was trying to be gentle. They are a bit more fitting and well, my preggo look for an old lady and the extra cheek showing in the behind was just scary.
Too much showing there!
I tried the Minnie with my Champion compression shorts I like to wear and he thought it was a much better look although the shorts do go below the skirt, but whatever.

Now I'm trying to decide Minnie or the Navy athletic skirt for the Minnie...

Yup, I got an e-mail from Cindy yesterday too and my skirts are taking a bit longer to get to me because the Minnie is backordered in Canada so they shipped it out of the US. Darn those customs taking awhile for your package to get across the border! Anyhow, I should have my skirts soon, hopefully in time for me to wear one at the Sun Run in Vancouver this weekend!
